Every morning I wake up to the same alarm

Every morning I walk down to the same table

The day begins just like every other; repetitive and uninteresting

I wonder, will there ever be a day that things could be different?

That we may perhaps come across something new for a change?

That’s what I question, but in reality it’s not that easy to follow through

We have our separate responsibilities to take care of; it’s what people call ‘life’

That I myself can be something unique and individual broken away from the status quo

It’s just a matter of finding that inner voice to follow

Through the up and downs of the real world

If we can give ourselves a peak into what could

If I could follow my dreams; to sketch out the rough draft of the final outcome
