Projects •Skills I’m a current BA Product Designer studying at Nottingham Trent University. Here, I’m understanding and developing the neccesary skills and abilities required for industry through answering live briefs with real companies and constantly developing my creative capabilities. I believe I excell within my own creativity and I’m able to comfortably adapt to different design tasks. Futhermore, I am continuosuly achieving better design decisions thus improving my end product which is being reflected through company feedback. 01. Contempory Design Deskop Clock Sheet Material Manufacturing
Brief Explore the commercial home-ware market, developing a single or range of products specifically for sheet material manufacturing such as laser, water and plasma cutting. There are no restrictions on type of product you produce however awareness of target and route to market must be considered
Ideation Sketches
Product is purchased in flat pack form and user can self assemble the product.
Perforated edges on the fold lines allow for a simple assembly.
Final assembled product is then ready for use in environment.

Brief
Toothbrushes can be home to over 100 million types of bacteria
Fully encapsulating a toothrbush head may promote bacterial growth
Design a new promtoional item or gadget. The design must reflect an innovative approach to this. However, there is no reason that traditional favourites like the pen, mug or mousemat can’t be altered in some way to include another feature that exists separately, but not yet in combination with the pen, mug or mousemat.
Toothbrushes are required to be dried out to prevent bacterial growth and release moisture

• Manufactured using recycled plastics, the environmental impact of the materials used is lower than that of other conventional plastic products.
• The tranparent front door component allows the user to see the toothbrush when being stored as well as provide an aesthetic appeal to the product
• The suction cup feature of the product allows the component to attatch to a variety of materials, expanding the usability of the product.

Brief Design a new innovate blox concept that works with the existing blox bricks design. Optional routes: Additional play factor • Encouraging STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) • Storage solutions & play on the go • Bettering the “How to Build” communication • Increasing collectability • Bettering EQ & encouraging social play and building as team

Build mat simply wraps and unwraps from around the storage casing; connects using a velcro strap.
Fabric strap for user comfort as well as enhanced aesthetics.
Storage case wihch contains the childs Blox pieces.
