OUR CITY. OUR COLLEGE. It’s my distinct honor to be appointed president of such an extraordinary institution of higher education, and I’m excited to share with you RCTC’s 20172018 Annual Report. The Annual Report is prepared in a calendar format to be used daily as a tool to help you plan your future; and is already populated with important dates to keep you in touch with what is happening on campus. In addition, the last few pages highlight the great successes of our students, faculty, and staff from the past year. I encourage you to take a few minutes to read those stories, and I’m sure it won’t take you long to understand why RCTC is so much more than a college . . . it truly is this community’s college. As I begin serving as your next president, it excites me to join an extraordinary team of professionals committed to improving people’s lives through learning. For over 100 years, RCTC has been preparing students for leadership, service, and the workforce; and working together, we will build upon the successes from the past to ensure the best opportunities await our students in the future. On behalf of the students, faculty and staff, thank you for your support to our College, and I invite you to join us in writing new success stories in 2018-2019! Sincerely, Jeffery S. Boyd, Ed.D. President
