MAJOR ACHIEVMENTS:
Captained and Managed University football team to win the league within a year. The advantage of playing and managing this sport is that I have developed skills such as competition, team-work, organisational skills and confidence; which are all transferable skills into the workplace. Organised monthly fundraising events and social evenings to raise money in order to keep the University Football Club running. Playing on Wembley as a youngster before an F.A Cup Semi-Final. Backpacking throughout India and South East Asia for a total of six months. This opportunity improved my organisational skills, gave me an understanding of the world’s cultural differences and taught me to welcome new experiences. Volunteer work whilst travelling which included teaching under privileged children from Delhi, India and supporting and aiding an animal welfare organisation in Rajasthan, India.
