RAHU YOUNG PEOPLE’S DATABASE RAHU has carried out peer counseling sessions in schools, communities, and institutions and bio data of students has been collected in the long run a youth database has been put in place so as all information of young people that is got during the peer counseling sessions is stored. This database has the school, name, class, and gender, email address and telephone contact. These shall always be used when there is any communication that is needed to be passed on to the young people through SMS platforms and news letter sharing. A total of 11 schools have so far been fed into the data base, 745 males and 1256 females have been stored in the database, 542 email addresses and 982 telephone numbers have been collected and more are being collected. During the data collection we realized that most young people use mobile phones and facebook compared to use of email addresses, so this calls for social media interaction and information on sexual reproductive rights and issues.

Winnie Nansumba Hey every one happy new 2012 I know that RAHU has got a lot in stock they should know us of what we are and what we do. Empowering young people is really the best becoz we are capable of doing a number of things that and we should be in position to show that to every who thinks that we are wastes suggest we prove them wrong so the struggle starts now and today .........big up to REACH A HAND UGANDA!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rayjay Ray There’s a lot of sex talk coming my way. I hear 40% of secondary school children have had sex and its unprotected yet the young girls are involved in cross generation sex. That’s tight ppo. 16% of university gals thinks its normal to have cross generation sex. Why are you guys reckless about sex and how realistic or effective can you be told about the dangers of having unprotected sex? Do you really have to have sex? Just asking. Plz take my concerns seriously.
