Japan Welcome to Japan. We will take you on a personal tour covering food, sports, tourism, and technology. So sit back and relax watching The Japanese Dragons, traveling through Japan.


Tourism Japan has many things to do or visit while you are there. Japan has a population of about 128 million. With that amount of people, they have many stores to shop at. Also, there is not a lot of room for cars, so you either have to walk, use bikes, or use motorcycles.


Places to Go‌ When you are in Japan, you will never be bored. There are many places to go, or visit. One of the best places people like to visit is Tokyo Disneyland. Also, you could visit the Tokyo Tower, or the Shinto Gate.


Things to Do‌ If you are eating a lot of the good Japanese food, there are many things to do to burn it off. One of the coolest things to do is to go hiking at Daisetsuzan, Japan’s largest national park. Also, you can go scuba-diving, snowboarding, or the New Years Festival.


Long Vacations… If you are planning to go on a long vacation, once again, Japan has it. You can dive on the long bridges over the ocean, to some of Japans small island resorts. They work well for both couples or families. So come out and “tour” Japan.


TECHNOLOGY Now I will teach you about Japanese technology. The 1-seater car called the t10 and, the internet umbrella, new Xbox 360 natal, aqua sounder.


The Japanese made an umbrella where you can go on the internet. They mostly use Google earth, 3d maps, or shearing photos. The name is called the pileus (meaning the head of the mushroom).


They also have a new XBOX 360 natal. It has no cords or cords. You only need a TV Xbox the game and a camera. It’s kind of like a Wii but you do not need controller.


They also made an aqua sounder. You can put your IPod or mp3 player. You can use it in the water, and around 10 speakers around it. It would cost around $105 bucks and each speaker cost $93 bucks.


Food Some of the most important food in Japanese history is sushi and rice. Sushi is made from tuna and caviar. Sushi and rice are usually eaten together. They have been the most important food in Japanese history for over 2000 years.


Ever eat with chopsticks? In Japan many things are eaten with chopsticks, weather it is rice and sushi or salmon and tuna the Japanese eat their food with chopsticks.


Hey what do you put on your pizza? Maybe some spices or parmesan cheese? Well the Japanese put some crazy stuff on their pizzas. Corn, seemed seeds, and mayonnaise are the most popular pizza toppings over there.


How are your plates and bowls decorated at home? Well in Japan their plates are decorated with beautiful designs. They are decorated like this because Japanese chefs believe that food should taste good and appear well to the eye.


Sports Now you will learn about some of the sports in Japan. Baseball was introduced to Japan by the United States during the early Meiji period. In Japan their baseball season starts in April and ends in October. Baseball is the most popular sport in Japan so almost every company and school has their own team.


In Japan, sumo wrestling is a competitive sport where two wrestlers face off in a circular area. Ozeki is the title of the ranking given to sumo wrestlers. Sumo takes place at an elevated ring called dohyo. Also, sumo is a Shinto ritual that started about 1500 years ago. This oldfashioned form of wrestling draws huge crowds of spectators. I hope you got to learn a little bit about sumo wrestling.


Another sport played in Japan is golf. In Japan golf is considered a luxury sport because the courses take up so much land. Annual club memberships range from $3000.00 to $20,000 a year.


Karate and Judo are modern sports that have evolved from traditional Japanese fighting and self-defense skills. Judo means the way of softness. People in Japan also play a sport that is based on sword fighting techniques called fencing.
