Pu rpose of a Keynote Speaker
How would you feel if you had to bring a topic in front of a gathering and start speaking on it? Most probably, no one would take notice of you. It is most likely that you will go unnoticed. It is therefore bets to have an introduction session where the main speaker, that is you, is introduced and also the topic for the day is introduced and a certain amount of discussion is held on the topic. This would be the job of a Keynote Speaker. A keynote introduces the keynotes in the topic of discussion. For example, if one were to explain about global warming, then the keynote would introduce the speaker and then lead the topic to the introduction. He would also say that the speaker were to speak about the following topics. He would be clear and concise. It is best that there be an introductory discussion on the topic so that the main speaker can be clear on what the views of the audience, on the topic, are. Hence, this job is also given to the keynote. The keynote is given around ten minutes in an hour’s speech to introduce and get the gathering to speak. He would normally use some interesting story or anecdote to make sure that the audience is listening to him. Motivation is a main thing in any interesting speech. If the keynote makes sure that his attention is being obtained, then the main speaker can be sure that the audience is listening to him. Sometimes the speaker can also be called to introduce a new business in front of a panel of judges or people. The cost of having a keynote at the speech and his accommodation has to be borne by the organization. Very few speakers do it as charity or just for the fun of it. This profession is high paying by itself. Inspiration being an important factor influencing the crowd, the speaker provides enough and more of this. He must make sure that he grabs a large gang to be attentive to the main speaker. Both the main speaker and the Keynote Speaker share the outcome from the speech-the praise.
