FITZROY SQUARE
LOCATION W1 – LONDON’S HISTORIC LITERARY HEARTLAND Few other areas of London can lay claim to such an eclectic and dynamic range of influences that have helped shaped the rich social fabric of the area. Dylan Thomas, George Orwell, Arthur Rimbaud and Virginia Woolf have all made their homes here at one time or another and key figures from the arts, film, advertising and media worlds have also defined Fitzrovia’s unique blend of the bohemian and the cosmopolitan.
Additionally the area’s industrial heritage and in particular its association with couture and high fashion evoke echoes of modern New York. The area’s central location, superb connectivity and burgeoning reputation for exquisite cuisine and contemporary culture have all been instrumental in establishing W1 as London’s most discerning postcode.

SITUATED WITHIN THE VIBRANT HEART OF LONDON’S ARTISTIC QUARTER, THE APARTMENTS PLACE YOU WITHIN EASY REACH OF WHAT, FOR MANY PEOPLE, IS QUINTESSENTIALLY LONDON.

CULTURE, COUTURE & CARS
G
reat Portland Street was once known as ‘Motor Row’ due to its association with fine marques including Jaguar and Morgan Cars and by 1925 over 33 showrooms had been established along its entire length. Speedometer House, built in 1913 and home to Smith’s instruments the world famous producers of precision gauges and instrumentation for everything from classic sports cars to the Supermarine Spitfire, is a prominent local landmark. The couturiers have always been a key strand of Fitzrovia’s story and the surrounding streets offer a host of contemporary chic fashion boutiques and premium retail portfolios. London’s thriving nightlife, club scene, theatre and arts venues are within easy reach as you step out of your apartment into the heart of cultural London.
