Meet the Presenters Samuel B. Boxerman Esq., is a partner in the Environmental Practice Group of Sidley Austin LLP in Washington, DC. He has defended clients in environmental litigation cases. He specializes in matters related to shale gas development and hydraulic fracturing.
Leonard Jordan is the associate chief for conservation at the USDA. He directs the Natural Resources Conservation Service Programs—Science and Technology, Soil Science and Resource Assessment, and Strategic Planning and Accountability deputy areas.
KC Conway is the executive managing director of Real Estate Analytics for Colliers International, leading real estate analytics capabilities advising institutional, bank, regulatory clients, as well as supporting valuation and advisory services. In 2010, Conway received the “Superior Contributions” award by the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council.
Myers Jackson, of United Country Certified Real Estate is a certified auctioneer and provides land auction and real estate auction services to fifty states and international provinces. He is the author and instructor of the Institute course, Building Business Through Technology.
Bill Eshenbaugh, ALC, is the 2013 Meeks Distinguished Service award winner and owner of Eshenbaugh Land Company in Tampa, FL. He has been active in brokerage and land development for more than 30 years and has been a director or officer in most major real estate organizations.
Jay Ellis is founder and general partner of Sporting Ranch Capital Management. He spent 25 years on Wall Street with Credit Suisse First Boston and in 2007 opened the first Institutional Sales office for Morgan Stanley in Dallas, Texas.
William Emmons, PhD, is an assistant vice president and economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. He conducts policy analysis and speaks on the economy, financial markets, and household financial conditions. He is an adjunct professor of finance in the John M. Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis.
Brent Gloy, PhD, is a professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Purdue University. He teaches and conducts research in the areas of agricultural finance and agribusiness management. His research focuses on issues related to the supply and demand for credit. He is the founder and director of the Center for Commercial Agriculture.
Detlef Hallermann, PhD, is an associate clinical professor and director for the Reliant Energy Trade Center at Texas A&M University. Hallermann has created and directs the Trading, Risk & Investments Program (TRIP) for the university. He is a petroleum engineer experienced in the energy industry.
Jim Miller, Esq., a senior vice president and regional manager for IPX1031, is a dedicated qualified intermediary for all types of §1031 tax deferred exchanges. He is a practiced attorney representing buyers, sellers, homebuilders, and developers in commercial and residential transactions.
Dean McCraw is a certified forester and president of McCraw Energy LLC. He was previously the director of forestry for the North Carolina Biofuels Center and the regeneration manager for Rayonier in Georgia where he managed the growing of over 505 million seedlings throughout the Southeast.
Eric Pimpler is the founder and owner of GeoSpatial Training Services (geospatialtraining. com). He implements and teaches Geographic Information Systems solutions using ESRI, Google Earth/Maps, Open Source technology. He is the author of Programming ArcGIS 10.1 with Python Cookbook.
Russell W. Riggs is the senior regulatory representative in the Government Affairs Division for the National Association of REALTORS® and is the government affairs liaison for the REALTORS® Land Institute. Riggs has engaged Congress and regulatory agencies on issues with a focus on property rights, the environment, and land use.
Brent Wellings is the southwest regional auction manager at Schrader Real Estate & Auction Co., Inc., and owner of Wellings Land Investment Advisory in Fort Worth, Texas. His services have been provided to a variety of clients including private equity groups, wealth/land management companies, trust professionals, and lending institutions.
