ELECTIVE COURSE CREDIT TOWARD THE ACCREDITED LAND CONSULTANT (ALC) DESIGNATION* The 2015 National Land Conference counts as an elective course toward earning the esteemed Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation.

4. Submit the paper for review within sixty days after the final day of the conference to the Institute Manager of Professional Development at rli@realtors.org. 5. Sign a release allowing the Institute to share the papers submitted.

Requirements

Those desiring to attend the conference as a course requirement are required to: 1. Check off on the conference registration form that the conference is being taken as a course elective.* 2. Attend all educational sessions of the conference and sign attendance rosters for each session. 3. Develop a detailed white paper that covers one of the topics from the conference adding additional information from life experiences, research, and interviews with subject matter experts. Specific requirements for the paper can be found at www.nationallandconference.com.

Certificates of Completion

A certificate of completion noting sixteen (16) contact hours will be sent to all who successfully complete the course white paper option requirements. *The Institute does not issue continuing education units. PRESENTERS MARSHALL BROWN is an executive leadership coach and the founder and chief executive officer of Marshall Brown & Associates. He challenges individuals, teams, and organizations to hone their skills to reach 100 percent optimum performance.

ZANDER EVANS, PHD, is the interim director and research director at the Forest Guild. He directs and conducts research to support on-the-ground implementation of ecological forestry, including the effectiveness of fuels treatment and sustainability of forest bioenergy.

JIMMIE DEAN COFFEY is the founder, president, and chief executive officer of United Country Coffey Realty and Auction. He has successfully conducted auctions across the country and is a real estate broker. He is on the Board of the NAA and is an auctioneer instructor.

GEORGE FRISVOLD, PHD, is a professor of agricultural and resource economics at the University of Arizona. He conducts research in agricultural and environmental policy analysis, water resource management, and information technologies in agriculture.

KC CONWAY is the senior vice president of credit risk management at SunTrust Bank. His previous experiences include being the executive managing director of Real Estate Analytics for Colliers International and an economist with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.

GREG GRIMES is the founder and president of Aquatic Environmental Services, Inc. His specialty is growing big fish— starting a preconstruction by designing a habitat or making an older lake more productive.

BILL DAVIS is the senior vice president, chief credit officer at Farm Credit Services of America. He has 33 years of agricultural lending experience with the Farm Credit System. He leads credit underwriting teams, the loan committee, and develops credit policy.

NOBU HATA is the director of Digital Engagement for the National Association of REALTORS®. As a real estate technology and new media expert, he brings value-added information to NAR members, brokers and associations.

MARK DOTZOUR, PHD, is the chief economist and director of research for the Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University. He conducts market research to monitor how global and national trends are likely to impact real estate markets.

CHRISTOPHER HATCHER, ESQ., is the principal of Williams and Jensen, PLLC. He represents clients before Congress and the Executive Branch, concentrating his practice on legislative issues surrounding tax, trade, and retirement policy.

MIKE ELLIOT is the managing principal of Energy Real Estate Solutions, LLC, where he provides brokerage, development, investment, joint venture, and advisory services to organizations seeking support in and around the world’s most active energy sites.

DAN DUFFY is the chief executive officer and chairman of the board of directors for United Real Estate system. He is responsible for the establishment and execution of a long-term strategy for United Real Estate.
