Our sustainability agenda is designed to enhance the sustainability of Reaseheath and embed goals and targets into all aspects of our education, training, operations, infrastructure and interactions with stakeholders.
Our Sustainability Strategy has the following themes: • Energy and water • Resource and waste management • Biodiversity and habitat management • Land and estate management • Sustainability within the curriculum
We work in partnership with the Student Association to reach our goals and UCR students are actively involved in projects to support our sustainability objectives.
Our curriculum reflects our commitment to sustainability supporting our students to progress to careers that meet the challenges for a sustainable future.
Sustainability is at the heart of our commercial farm production and the wider Reaseheath estate, through the adoption of new technologies to support sustainable farming practices and landscape recovery programmes.
