REINFORCED CONCRETE SLAB
The project is located in the Santo Antônio neighborhood. It is a set of apart-hotel rooms, with the most complete modern structure, aiming to adapt to the advancement of the area. Bordered by the Capibaribe River and the sea, this 5-storey building meets the Linear Park project, proposed for the region, in order to leverage tourism.
REINFORCED CONCRETE PILLAR
STRUCTURAL SCHEME
N All sustainable production must start from the principle of lasting the created material as much as possible, be it a building or even an object for that, the “Cradle to Cradle”, a principle also created by MacDonough and Braungart which means from cradle to cradle, brings the concept to transform the production cycle into an always returnable medium. This practice has been increasingly applied in the market in order to eliminate the concept of waste, architecture, commerce, industry and transport, making us almost obliged to “include the material world in our design considerations” (From the book "O campo expanded architecture "; pag; 167), imagining the use of materials in a new way . The building makes use of the inspiration of the local nature, due to its proximity to the mangrove and the Capibaribe River and the Sea, to create in their form cuts and combogó walls that allow the air to permeate and circulate freely throughout its structure, a since the air currents in the place are constant and this would provide a reduction in spending on refrigeration.
N On the oste facade, where the solar incidence is stronger throughout the day, mobile brises were implemented in the service area as well as a wall with a distance mesh, in order to create a pocket of hot air, allowing to soften the internal area , the incidence of heat, on this side of the hotel, as can be analyzed on the following page. Following the principles of Hannover and “Cradle to Cradle”, solar lighting will be extensively worked on in order to bring natural light during the day and the supply of nighttime energy through solar panels, inserted on the top of the building.

SÃO JOSÉ-PE
PERSPECTIVE
SÃO JOSÉ HIGH PARK The proposal to create an elevated park on the subway tracks on Joana Bezerra Island aims to overcome the barrier that consists of the railroad line, which prevents integration between the two banks. On the one hand, the Pina Basin and the São José District with its good urban infrastructure threatened by the underutilization of the built heritage and real estate pressure, on the other, Vila Brasil with its high housing density, low urban quality, and great lack of basic institutional infrastructures and services and bordered by the Capibaribe River, pressured by its disordered urbanization. The urban renewal project aims to produce cross-sectional access to the metro line provided by the park, while, along this, a network of public / institutional and private services is structured, capable of meeting the needs of local populations and attracting people from other countries. areas of the Metropolitan Region, something made possible by the connection established between the two largest catalysts for the flow of people present in RPA1: Joana Bezerra Station and Recife Central Station, both of a bimodal character and linked to other stations covering all regions of the metropolis . Linked to the navigability project of the Capibaribe River, the elevated park project proposes the creation of a waterway station connected to the clipping area through the re-urbanization of Vila Brasi, in order to promote greater democratization of urban infrastructure and improve the housing quality of these communities .

HOUSE ZELIA - A RESTORATION PROJECT Pátio do Terço is located in the State of Pernambuco-BR, in the city of Recife, more precisely in the neighborhood of São José. Being allocated at the meeting of the streets: Vidal de Negreiros Street,Right Street,Rua das Água Verdes .The lot to be worked on is lot 80, located between Rua Vidal de Negreiros and Rua Passo da Pátria.Currently the lot is for sale.
SITUATION MAP
THE IMAGES ARE STRIKING, FROM WHATEVER ANGLE OR CENTURY THE GREAT PROTAGONIST THAT MAKES UP THE MEETING OF THE STREETS, VIDAL DE NEGREIROS, RUA DIREITA AND RUA DAS ÁGUAS VERDES, IS UNDOUBTEDLY THE CHURCH OF THE ROSARY. THIS SCENARIO CLEARLY COULD NOT BE COMPOSED OTHERWISE; IN A DIVE INTO THE LOCAL PAST WE UNDERSTAND THIS RELATIONSHIP DIRECTLY.
IT WAS IN THE FIRST DECADES OF THE 18TH CENTURY, WHERE TODAY THE CURRENT RUA CRISTOVÃO COLOMBO IS LOCATED, THAT A NICHE WITH THE IMAGE OF OUR LADY, SERVED TRAVELERS AS A PLACE OF PRAYER OF THE ROSARY, FOR THANKS OR SEARCH FOR BLESSINGS. IN 1726 THE BROTHERHOOD WAS INSTALLED THERE AND YEARS LATER, AT THE DOORS OF HIS CHURCH, THE CONDEMNATION OF THE REVOLUTIONARY FRIAR, FREI CANECA, SERVED AS STAGE

THE HISTORICAL IMPORTANCE OF THIS REGION IS MARKED IN THE MENTALITY OF EVERY GOOD RECIFE; TODAY THE PATIO OF THE ROSARY HOSTS THE NIGHT OF THE DRUMS ONCE A YEAR, SILENT, RECALLING ALL THE IMPORTANCE OF THE PATIO FOR THE CITY. IN THE REMAINDER OF THE YEAR, THE OLD HOUSES THAT SURROUND THE REGION, WHICH ARE ALREADY VERY UNCHARACTERISTIC TODAY, ARE HOME TO LOCAL BUSINESSES, WHICH KEEP ALIVE THE MOVEMENT OF ITS STREETS DURING THE DAY.
THE BUILDING HAS CLEAR TRACES OF A TRADITIONAL NEOCLASSICAL ARCHITECTURE THAT REPRESENTED A TRANSITION BETWEEN THE OLD TOWNHOUSE AND THE SINGLE STOREY HOUSE. WITH SIMPLIFIED PLANTS LIKE THE RESIDENCES OF THE COLONIAL PERIOD, IT HAS THICK WALLS, ALCOVES, CORRIDORS AND COUNTERS MADE OF CAST IRON. INTRODUCTION OF THE USE OF PLATIBANDA, OF SIMPLE GLASS, MAINLY IN THE BANNER OF DOORS AND WINDOWS.
CURRENTLY, THE PART OF THE FIRST FLOOR OF THE BUILDING IS, IN RELATION TO THE DOORS, TOTALLY UNCHARACTERIZED, OF THE TRADITIONAL PATTERN, STILL PERCEIVED IN THE SECOND FLOOR. THE MAIN ENTRANCES, WHEN NOT CLOSED, REPLACED THE TRADITIONAL WOODEN AND GLASS DOORS, WITH THE "IRON CURTAINS", WIDELY USED IN LOCAL COMMERCE. COVERINGS, DIFFERENT FROM THE COLONIAL PERIOD, STARTED TO GET MORE COMPLICATED WITH FOUR WATERS. ORNAMENTS MARK THE SYMMETRY AND PROPORTION OF THE BUILDING. THE COLORS OF THE FAÇADE IN GENERAL IN THE PERIOD WERE WHITE DUE TO THE LACK OF POSSIBILITY, BUT AS TIME WENT BY, SOME COLORS SHYLY APPEARED.

IN ORDER TO STRUCTURE THE PROJECT, THE CHARACTER OF DONA ZELIA WAS CHOSEN. THIS BEING NOT A MERE CHARACTER CHOSEN AT RANDOM, HIS STORY IS STRUCTURED IN THE OLD PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE PATIO OF THE ROSARY. IT WAS IN THE 40S, WHEN IN ONE OF THE PATIO DO TERÇO HOUSES, THERE WAS THE THEN COLIAARIA ZELIA, PLACE OF SALE OF BEDDING AND MATTRESSES. THUS, THIS CLIENT HAS AN AFFECTIVE CONNECTION WITH THE AREA AND ITS HOUSES. HE HAD INHERITED THIS NAME, WHICH TOOK THE SAME NAME AS HIS FAMILY'S STORE, FROM HIS GRANDMOTHER WHO TOGETHER WITH HIS GRANDFATHER TOOK CARE OF THE BUSINESS THAT HAD A DIFFERENTIAL, BRINGING LACE BEDDING MADE BY HIS GRANDMOTHER AND HIS MOTHER.

VIEW OF THE ISLAND PERSPECTIVE
URBAN PROJECT - ITAMARACÁ ISLAND The following work had as its proposal the elaboration of an urban project, for an area located in Igarassu. On a land with a 40m high level curve, it was chosen by the group as the location with the greatest potential for population occupation. Thus, aiming at a better urban layout, three central circles were drawn, responsible for determining the main areas in the region's layout. From the union of the center of the circumferences, a diagonal axis emerged, responsible for exercising a role of joining in the 'center' of the land.
VIEW OF THE ISLAND
THE SPACE COMPRISING THE THREE CIRCUMFERENCES, POINTS OF CONTEMPLATION OR VIEWPOINTS WERE ESTABLISHED. PASSING THROUGH THESE, SHARED STREETS, WHICH AIM TO ENCOURAGE A BETTER EXPERIENCE OF THE AREA, MAKING USE OF A GREATER DISPLACEMENT ON FOOT OR BY BICYCLE. TO THE NORTH, WE COME ACROSS THE LOCAL NATURE, WHERE THE MATA DO AMPARO (REFUGE OF WILDLIFE).
REBECA NICODEMOS

AND TO THE EAST, A PLOT OF LAND SURROUNDED BY NATURAL VEGETATION.
EXECUTIVE PROJECT ITAMARACÁ ISLAND In the construction of an urban extension area, it is proposed to formulate a set of residential buildings with up to 4 floors. These are from the upper middle class, since the terrain of choice has a privileged view and an attempt is made to mix income classes in order to bring more life to the region. The plot is located next to a frame of social interest housing and close to the forest region, in addition to being on flat ground, but quite visible, due to its altitude, through the areas of the island.
In view of these issues, we seek to create, first of all, a building that has a subtle highlight in the landscape, taking into account the typological pattern of the area and its highlight in the landscape of the island as a whole. Around the area, a typological pattern is present. Simple houses, mostly made of clay bricks. It is common to see the construction material on display, or coated with sober colors, with the use of white and blue being constant.
REBECA NICODEMOS
ARCHITECTURE PORTIFOLIO
It is noted that in their morphology most houses have a kind of terrace, where the residents, usually use hammocks. The use of ceramic tile for covering is quite common. As well as glass is a little used material, being doors and windows, almost unanimously, made of wood. The houses, when they have walls, are generally low, with about 1 m. Security, when done, is accomplished with the addition of iron bars on doors and windows.
Thus, we have the constant presence of five articles: Clay wood Cement Iron
Glass (in a few cases)
