BEST OF 2017

BEST OF 2017 A year in review Well, 2017….you have been a rather precious year! There have been so many moments that have totally taken my breath away and made me pinch myself! I am always so grateful for the trust that the people I am lucky enough to work with place in me and am so humbled to be their chosen photographer. I am thrilled that my work has been published on Rock My Wedding, Rock and Roll Bride, Mr and Mrs Unique, Whimsical Wonderland weddings and in print in national magazines Perfect Wedding, Wedding Ideas, You and Your Wedding and Rock and Roll Bride Magazine. The big thread of excitement through the year has been weaving in my passions of shooting weddings and proposals and travelling in Iceland! I’ve captured weddings on the basalt beaches and grand glaciers and proposals inside a waterfall and at mountain sides. I led a photography tour which was blessed with the biggest snowfall on record and 4 nights of clear aurora chasing skies. Behind the scenes, it has been an exciting year planning some projects that I am working on at the moment. In June, I bought a drone and gained my PfCO from the Civil Aviation Authority which allows me to fly my drone commercially. I have several landscape projects that this will be used for and I can’t wait to share more of these this year as they develop.

BEST OF 2017 A year in review

The year has been packed full of so many glorious moments, I’ve loved capturing weddings in some really unique spaces, personal to couples meaning they’re a one off event in that space. One thing I treasure is catching up with previous couples as their families grow and this year has been just wonderful for meeting so many of the next generation! I’ve continued to grow my personal brand photography and love working with brands that have a sustainable ethos at the heart of what they do, capturing images that authentically tell the story of their business!

On a personal level, it has been a year of being outdoors and this will certainly underpin my plans for 2018! We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary and travelled in Norway and celebrated by capturing a self portrait shoot in the Lofoten Islands, which was hilarious fun and meant we have some images to treasure that dot in our timeline of life! I love creating these magazines as it allows me to reflect on all of the moments from the last year and reminisce about all of the moments. My last wedding of 2017 was at the end of December and this drew to a close, the last shot of my year was weaving in my favourite things. Love and nature at its best; a sky full of stars and the supermoon shining down. Wishing you all a 2018 full of amazing moments with all of your favourite folk! Love Rebecca xxx

SCARLET & BLAKE The Turner - Margate

Wonderful Blake and Scarlet married at Aberdeen House in Ramsgate and celebrated at Turner Contemporary in Margate. It was such a joy to shooting so close to home and I headed over to Scarlet where Forever Hair & Beauty Salon were pampering her. Scarlet had the most amazing Alice in Wonderland Irregular Choice shoes and another pair to change in to later and her veil was Rock ‘n Roll Bride for Crown and Glory!

They’d handmade everything for their day and rustic florals from Blooming Green looked stunning. Their epic cakes were created by Gateau Mini, weaving in all the things they love! Emma White – Wedding & Event Singer serenaded guests in the day & Hotsy Totsy got everyone to tapping and dancing in the evening. Photographer Dylan Collard was shooting his ‘Age of Us’ project and the guys were shot and interviewed as part of it! Adored his set up and loved looking at his work.

ICELAND New Years in Reykjavik

Well, Reykjavik certainly knows how to welcome in a new year! I read in Iceland Magazine that there were 655 tonnes of fireworks imported, most by the ICE-SAR, Iceland’s search and rescue team who are all volunteers and the sale of these fireworks provides them with income and supports the amazing work that they do in keeping people safe! The ban on fireworks being let off in Reykjavik is lifted and everyone can set them off and this is the result!!

It was the single most exhilarating and terrifying moment with fireworks going off everywhere at Hallgrímskirkja, the sound was so loud I couldn’t hear anything above the bangs! It was just mind-blowing to see this after watching the aurora and was worth the sleepless night for an early flight!

KIRSTY & VIC Great Higham Farm - Kent

Kirsty and Vic married in an outdoor woodland wedding at Great Higham Farm with Vic playing Kirsty down the aisle and led by Kate and Kate Celebrants. They’d had the most amazing day with so many epic handmade touches, including the bar! They had a wonderful team of people around with The Rye Retreat Aveda Lifestyle Salon and Spa and Nineteen Beauty pampering them.

Cucumber Catering looked after everyone with a hog served as a family feast before Vic’s band played the start of the evening reception with a rendition of “It’s All About You” with lyrics dedicated to Kirsty – it was amazing! CoverFlow Party Band took over and everyone hit the dancefloor!

JOE & KATIE Iceland

It was a total dream capturing these wonderful guys marry in Iceland. We set off together towards the south coast and were blessed by warm weather and gentle winds as we visited Solheimajokull Glacier and Dyrholaey. Katie is a florist and she designed her bouquet and sourced the flowers in Reykjavik and hand tied with some of her favourite silk from Silk and Willow.

They looked fab against her bespoke made dress with lace and soft blue tulle from Weekend Wedding Dress in NYC. We had such a laugh as we road tripped together and it felt like we’d know each other forever! They wrote vows and exchanged them in the basalt caves on The Black Sand Beach at last light. On the way back west, we stopped at a desolate Skogafoss before aurora chasing and oh my goodness, the skies came alive with the ultimate gift from Mother Nature! What an amazing day and way to start married life!

CLAIRE & ED Odo’s Barn - Kent

Oh this was the day of days for wonderful Claire & Ed who married in the paddock under the willows at Odo’s Barn in the lovely month of July. I love how they described each other in their vows as one brain, serendipitously played out when they wrote messages to each other in the exact same card by chance!

Their whole day flew by and the much anticipated Rockaoke rocked their evening do and Claire and Ed opening the night on the mics. High fives to amazing Urban Pantry Food who created spectacular food, Johnnys Little Sister Flower Emporium who designed the beautiful blooms.

BLOSSOM & BLUEBIRD Personal Brand Shoot - Margate

This day was all kinds of fun as I shot for one of my lovely personal brand clients, Sian at Blossom and Bluebird, capturing her amazing new range of veils. Lucy Baker, Makeup Artistand Jennifer, owner of Obsessions Salon, collaborated on the bridal hair and make up styles while EtceteraVintage Homeware and Florals created the amazing floral crowns.

Jo Louiseand Elika Ashoorimodelled the epic range which I know so many of my brides are going to LOVE! We were all rather excited to shoot at the fabulous Margate House an incredible space in the heart of the town before heading down to the harbour for some shots to finish our time together on this glorious day.

ANNIE & ROB Woodland Wedding

Annie & Rob had the most wonderful woodland wedding, transforming a family friend’s wooded field into their dream wedding. The ceremony led by True Blue Ceremonies – Independent Celebrant looked so beautifully twinkly before everyone enjoyed the afternoon sun by the Maka Tipiand The Fat Carrotcaterered for everyone.

It was great to work alongside Ignite Filmscapturing their day in motion, Chic Event Hire, Janet’s China Hire, and Mel Jenkinson (Make up artist). I totally adored the florals, with Annie being a florist, she woke at 5am to create the florals at the venue and all of the bouquets – super stunning!!

NORWAY Our 10th Anniversary

While travelling in Norway to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and as part of the trip we’d said it would be lovely to get some photos of us. Ashamedly, as a photographer, I am more often than not behind the camera and not practicing what I preach! We had looked into one of my photography friends coming to shoot for us, but we were trying to fit too much into the last part of the trip......a little further down the line, I thought about it some more and wondered about popping one of my cameras on a tripod, framing things and seeing what we could come up with.

My phone has a nifty wireless app so I can fire the camera remotely so I knew it was possible. A few weeks before the trip, I chatted to amazing Nova Clarke’s Workshop and she made me a bespoke tulle skirt and Mark wore the kilt he wore on our wedding day! I’ve got to thank Lucy Baker She Coaches Confidence who taught me how to apply make up earlier this year....nothing is like having her here to do it but lush to know a bit more about what to do! We got up at sunrise today and shot on a beach before hitting the road after lunch and catching sunset further west down the Islands.....it has been such a giggle and a lovely lazy day creating some memories!

ICELAND FEB - 2017 Reykjavik - Iceland

ROSINA & STUART P reston Court - Kent

Rosina and Stuart marry at St Mildreds and celebrated a few strides away at Preston Court. Their day started with everyone getting ready at The Bell Hotel where the girls were pampered by Lucy Jayne Makeup and Wild Rose Hair and her Grecian goddess dress was from Isabella Grace Bridal Boutique. Quirky Wedding Cars took Rosina & her Dad to church, full of family and friends and beautiful florals by Wild Bloom.

Everyone got stuck into the epic games from TiggiWinkle before a glorious meal by Stella Grove Personal Chef. Rosina & Stuart suggested cutting their amazing Bluebell Kitchen Cake outside in front of the carousel which looked amazing! In the evening Apollo Soul filled the dance floor and The Mobile Pizzeria filled everyone’s tummies.

SHASTEN & RITCHIE Reykjavik - Iceland

Earlier in the year, I got to spend some time with wonderful Richie & Shasten who married in NYC days ahead of their Iceland trip where they wanted to exchange personal promises and have their wedding photos. Except Richie had a surprise for Shasten and asked her to ‘Iceland Marry Me’ with a surprise diamond ring in front of Gardur lighthouse, which was such an amazing moment.

We went in to the cafe to warm up and the lovely lady looking after us was so excited to see them! They changed into Icelandic jumpers to cosy up before we went to Reykjanes Pennisular where they exchanged personal promises on the rocks. We weaved in a little more Iceland epic to end their shoot at Gunnhver.

EMMA & JAMES Engagement - Ramsgate

Well, when you pick a date for an engagement shoot months in advance, you never quite expect February to feel like a summer’s day! It was just glorious out there on a February Sunday morning and Emma and James met me in Ramsgate and we popped down to the East Cliff beach with the stunning white cliffs!

Emma and I went to the same school and we both love the coast, so we weaved this in to our time together; just look at that sky, its such a beautiful contrast from the white of those chalk cliffs! It was such a glorious day and we were blessed with such beautiful weather.

JASMINE & KIERAN The Ferry House Inn - Sheerness

Jasmine and Kieran married at The Ferry House Inn and it was such a fab day! Jasmine walked down the aisle to a song Kieran had written and as soon as they locked eyes they beamed at each other. These smiles filled their day with so much joy all day.

They had a surprise planned, for their first dance was a choreographed routine and it was simply amazing! The other exciting element to their day is that it is going to feature on ‘Say Yes to the Dress’ and I had a lovely day working with Jonathan who filmed their day as part of the show!

ICELAND MARCH - 2017 The Golden Circle - Tour

Such a fabulous group of people joined me to enjoy and experience the epicness Iceland has to offer. Over night on our first evening staying on a remote horse farm there was mega snowfall and it only became apparent how mega when we were in The Golden Circle, it was so quiet, Reykjavik was snowed in under a record 51cm of snowfall and coach tours and cars a like couldn’t get out so we had the sights to ourselves!

We journeyed to powerful waterfalls; Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss; were mesmerised by the sea at Dyrholaey and rewarded by an iceberg ladened Jokulsarlon. With the blessing of extended high pressure, we had wall to wall sunshine and clear skies at night for aurora chasing. We were so very lucky with the aurora reaching KP6.67 on one night, it was incredibly active and so the icing on the cake meant we saw it on four nights. Reykjavik was even more beautiful under the snow and was a great spot for our last night together !

MURPHY Newborn

In March I caught up with lovely Alex and Lauren and met their marvellous Murphy! I captured their wedding at Dewsall Court last year and it was so wonderful catching up on their whirlwind year and meeting this lovely fella, full of cheeky smiles and fist pumps!

His room was too dreamy, I wanted to move in! With whimsical woodland wallpaper and dark blue walls, it was so comfy; perfect to send anyone off for a good nights sleep! Whilst little Murphy was snoozing, we all managed to wander out into the garden for a few more photos before the days end.

NORWAY Ryten

SARAH & JOSH Iceland

Getting to meet these two American sweethearts in Iceland for a couple shoot which had a rather amazing plan, Josh proposing to Sarah inside the waterfall at Seljalandsfoss! As always, we were blessed with insane weather and incredible landscapes in this beautiful country!

We went on such an adventure together from Dyrholaey where we saw a bazillion puffins (EEEK!!) and on to Reynisfjara Beach before heading back up the ring road to Skogafoss and finally walking behind the waterfall where there was one important question to be asked – and she said yes! Wowowowowow what a moment!! On the way back to Selfoss the most amazing fog rolled in which we stopped to create a few twilight moments together…….this is a day that is going to forever make me smile!

SARAH & WILL Turville Heath

Sarah and Will married at the place their love story began and I was super excited to weave all of the goodness of Turville Heath into their photos. They got ready together and I adored Sarah’s Jada Dreaming dress, bespoke made to weave in things that meant the world to her. They gave the bridesmaids handmade jewellery by Will – his Wooden Cockatoo Jewellery.

I had 5 minutes of fun rustling up a bouquet for Sarah with wild flower and foliage as she realised she’d overlooked arranging one. We had some portrait time before their beautiful ceremony on the heath where they exchanged emotional personal vows. Everything was beautifully hand made, the flowers, the cake and all of the decorations, it all looked swell! Sarah a total nature girl said ‘oh lets go to the foxgloves, you’ll love it there’ and she was right.

EMILY & SEAN Engagement - Ramsgate

Well this day was totally glorious! A little flirt with summer; hot sun, still seas and long lazy evenings were starting return in that hazy March afternoon! It was a joy to hang out with Emily and Sean that evening for their engagement shoot at Viking Bay, Broadstairs. The light that night was a blessing!!

Emily remembered camping in summer holidays for the world famous Folk Week and loved how quiet the beach was on this day by contrast! Emily is so clever - she even made Sean’s shirt that he wore on this day! Talk about skilled and talented!

HEIDI & JAMES Marleybrook House

Wonderful Heidi and James married on a Saturday and what a day full of love, fun and laughter they had at Marleybrook House Wedding Venue. I’ve totally been looking forward to their day after many an instagram chat about cats and all glorious things! Heidi was pampered by Juliette Harris Marsden and their amazing florals were created by Joanne Truby Floral Design and she teamed up with Fondant Fox Cake Design to create an amazing floral garden round the cake!

NEW YORK

New York was such an amazing trip with my dear friend and fellow wedding photographer Lydia! I can’t believe all that we did in 4 nights and one of the many highlights was certainly taking a taxi to Manhattan as the sun was setting behind the skyline. we were graced with a rather hefty dusting of snow which made the lanscape look so much more magical!

JO & JOE Elmley Nature Reserve

Jo & Joe married at Elmley Nature Reserve on a gorgeous Saturday in August in the sizzling sun, surrounded by family, friends and nature. It was such an amazing day with so many creative touches crafted by Jo, she’s an incredible calligrapher! The venue was beautifully bloomed by The Flower Company and they smelt amazing! The nature reserve was surrounded by such awesome landscapes which we definitely took to our advantage! Such a relaxed day but the time flew too quickly and we were in the Shepherd Huts creating a little bit of night time magic‌.

LAURA & CONNOR Chilston Park

In that cosy bit between Christmas and New Year, Laura and Conor married on the glorious crisp December days at Chilston Park Hotel in Lenham. Returning to Laura’s home county from their life in Australia and family and friends travelling from across the world, it was such a magical day.

s everyone was hitting the dance floor, we took a few moments outside, the cold air giving a sky full of stars and the upcoming supermoon and their epic stillness for 8 seconds meant we could capture the stars and the moon!

NORWAY Lofoten Islands

ANDRES & KATIE Iceland

Back in April, Andres asked if I would capture his Icelandic proposal to Katie and we had been secretly planning the say for so long! On a Friday, Katie’s boss gave her a day off and Andres had set up a treasure hunt and pamper day. It wasn’t until the Saturday when she was at the airport, with friends waving Icelandic flags, Katie found out where she was going as they travelled from Texas together.

We met a Kirkjufellsfoss on the Monday, with Katie unaware that I would even be there for Andres to capture the moments! Andres gave Katie 20 roses with significant dates on each one and on the bridge over the waterfall with the mountain in the background, he got down on one knee and she excitedly said yes. We were lucky with the weather, the wind working so beautifully with Katie’s dress, before going back to Kirkjufellsfoss for some night time shots!

HOLKAM BRIDAL SHOOT Norfolk

Well this day was a little bit epic! As crows fly overhead, I travelled up from Kent to Norfolk and got to create with the most epic team of wedding industry buddies! They hired an amazing floral backdrop from Boutique Wedding Hire and this teamed perfectly with florals by Moody Blooms. It was such a treat to see the process behind how they make some of their incredible cake masterpieces!

NATASHA & TOM St. Pancras Station & Borough Market

I met up with lovely Natasha & Tom in London for their engagement shoot. We started with a coffee at St Pancras before shooting near the bar where they had their first date and then later their engagement party, so it held so many of their memories together. We then hopped on a tube to Borough Market where they love to spend time.

We were totally treated to amazing light as we chatted our way on a little afternoon adventure around London. The crisp Winter air really blew us away, but that didn’t stop the lovely Natasha and Tom! The gorgeous Winter sun lead us through the day and we all had such fun wandering through the hustle and bustle of the beautiful city of London.

Well this day was super special. I got to meet Evie who was celebrating her one week of making Laura and Dan a family! ICELAND - JUNE 2017

For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to go to the central highlands in Iceland. As I have always travelled in winter, they have been inaccessible to self-drive 4x4s so I knew it would be a summer trip. It was the most glorious day, driving through roads lined with lupines, seeing volcano craters and reaching the breathtaking rhyolite mountains at Landmannalaugar.

The drone images give such an amazing perspective on the mountains that feel like the go to infinity! We took a three hour hike around the mountains before driving home. I was up bright and early with a spring in my step as I was off to the beach with Jen and Dan who were enjoying their 5th year holidaying in Broadstairs. When Jen enquired with me, we cooked up a plan to go to the beach, build sand castles, go rock pooling and stop for a treat in Morelli’s Gelato.

I had so much fun with all of them, I got into the sea and my skirt soaked without a care in the world. Such great freerange fun! I think it’s safe to say everyone enjoyed thier icecreams from Morelli’s!

Their reception was at Portland Castle where they were piped into their reception! I loved Tom’s reaction when his best man handed him a signed letter from Sir Alex Ferguson! We wandered around the beautiful castle, which originally belonged to Henry VIII; so we had a lot of history wound into the day!

ICELAND - AUGUST 2017

THE FERRY HOUSE INN Personal Brand

In the summer I got to visit one of my favourite places, Weddings at The Ferry House Inn at Harty on The Isle of Sheppey. The team were reflecting on how far they had come with their ever extending Kitchen Garden, meaning food comes from field to table from just a few feet for some ingredients!

The whole team are so passionate about what they do and the quality they deliver, I am always inspired by everything that Victoria and Alex do and it was a total joy telling their personal brand story. I even spotted a curious creature that their Head Gardener Jane told me was a Hummingbird Hawk Moth!

HOPE SPINAL WELLNESS Personal Brand

I got to spend time with the amazing team at Hope Spinal Wellness Chiropractors Canterbury capturing their personal brand photography, showcasing the amazing work they do through chiropractic, functional fitness, nutrition and massage at their clinic in St Stephens in Canterbury.

I can’t even begin to sum up how passionate these guys are, bursting with knowledge about health and wellbeing and there to support you in being the best version of yourself. Their facillities are incredible and insanley equipped for every need.

JESSICA & JACOB Cooling Castle Barn - Kent

Jessica and Jacob married at Cooling Castle Barn on a day that felt more like mid-June than April! They’d not seen each other for over 2 months as Jacob had been stationed away in the army and the first time they saw each other was as Jessica walked down the aisle!

Jessica is super creative and made the wooden placemats and table centres which looked great with the Floral Explosion blooms. I loved the return of the longer evenings and we had a lovely stroll after dinner before they took to the dance floor!

MEGAN & JONJO Saltcote P lace - Rye

Megan and Jonjo married in St Anthony’s Church in Rye and celebrated at Saltcote Place. We were so very lucky with the weather, with rain sweeping through whilst we were in church and the newlyweds left stepping into sunshine. We strolled the streets of Rye before heading back to Saltcote where everyone enjoyed a reception on the lawn.

High fives to Samuel Henton Wedding Videography, Lin’s Crafty Cakes, Bows Hire, Jupiter Ray, Tic Hodge Makeup, Rebbecca Richards Makeup. We were even graced with a lovely rainbow as we watched the earlier bout of rain we had in the day, pour away in the distant land.

SAM Newborn

This day had been a long time coming. We found out while we were away that Sam had arrived, the first of the next generation in our family. That makes me an official Auntie!

My darling sister and Nick have been blessed with this stunner of a boy and I can’t wait for all the adventures that being Auntie Bex will bring.

LUCY & CHRIS Sandwich

This day was too epic! My two dear friends recently bought a house together and Chris asked if I’d take some photos of them for their walls. Little did I or Lucy know that starting their shoot at the Ham Sandwich Sign, would be where Chris would drop to one knee and propose!

I didn’t know a thing and within seconds of getting out the car, I turned on my heal having just got the camera out and in front of me Chris was already on one knee, popping the question. I am so, so, SO, excited for them and was a total crying mess behind my sunnies as it took me my complete surprise too! We journeyed around some of their favourite places and ended their shoot at a desolate Botany Bay.

CLAIRE & INIGO Chiddingstone Castle - Kent

Wonderful Claire and Ini married at Chiddingstone Castle Weddings on a Saturday in late September, and what a glorious day it was! Claire was pampered by Grace Benson Make Up before heading to the castle to put her stunning Isabella Grace Bridal Boutique dress on. The marquee looked incredible with florals by Florist in the Forest and Ini had made all of the place-names!

Lola, their gorgeous pug joined us for portraits and a goosebumps moment happened in the rose garden, when The Surrey Pianist serenaded them with ‘All I Ask Of You’ from Phantom, while we captured some portraits, it was just so, so beautiful! Urban Pantry Food looked after everyone and Jump Entertainments got the party stared!

POPPY Family

There is nothing I love more than catching up with couples, especially when I get to meet a VIP in their journey! I captured Sophie & Roger’s wedding back in 2014 and today got to spend time with them in the beautiful home and out in their local park, capturing moments as a family.

Poppy was amazing for the whole shoot and it was such a treat to spend an afternoon with such awesome folk. We strolled through the local park and through the woods; it was such a treat of a day!

KITTY & TOM Grittenham Barn

Kitty and Tom married during a beautiful church service at Sacred Heart in Petworth and then celebrated at Grittenham Barn Sussex. It was a wonderful wintery day which suited the roaring fire in the barn and the rustic and rich colours of their day!

We were treated to an off the hook, immense sunset before lots of fun ensued into the evening! High fives to Angel Like Flowers, Gastro Catering Sussex and Surrey, CoOrdination Catering Hire Limited, Emma at Lipstick & Curls, The Mews Bridal, Mignonne handmade, Walker Slater, La Cave à Fromage, Lydia Pearson – Soprano.

KATE & BECS Clock Barn

Wonderful Kate & Becs married at Clock Barn Wedding Venue in Hampshire on a Friday in the glorious Autumnal light, and it was such a treat to be part of their day. They decided to have a first look ahead of seeing the registrar together and it was such a special moment.

The light was just dreamy as they turned to take a moment to absorb each other before the fun of their day ensued! I loved their mix of seasonal blooms by The Blooming Workshop and they both looked a dream in their gorgeous gowns by Sass & Grace!

EMMA EMMA & & MATT MATT Croyden The Grasshopper Inn - Westerham

Emma & Matt married at the beautiful All Saints Church in Croyden on a very crisp winter’s day in late November! Emma was traditionally a little late and I loved how she peeped around the aisle at the start of their ceremony.

We were blessed with glorious light as we arrived at The Grasshopper Inn, Westerham for their reception where mulled wine and mince pies were enjoyed by everyone! The cosy reception full of candles looked totally gorgeous and I adored their family first dance! It was such a cosy day, escpecially when we all sneaked off to warm ourselves around the grand fireplace! It was such a wonderful day!

Catching up with Team Wood as three has become four and we had some lovely fun at home with all the joy of Christmas wrapped around us.

Christmas is such a wonderful time of the year, and to spend a moment of it with these guys just made my day! Brothers cosying up for a snuggle and the joy and excitement of Christmas making everyone feel warm and fuzzy!

AB JEWELERY Personal Brand Shoot

Well this morning was lots of fun, catching up with wonderful AB Jewellery at her new studio in Broadstairs. Her bench was full of projects she’s working on for Christmas and I captured her working away and mixed in some shots of all of the sparkle and pretty around the workshop.

Otis her dog is such a dude too, totally working the camera! I am always so inspired when I see what Ami creates, we used to go to school together and it is just amazing to see what she makes. She is starting jewellery lessons which I think I am going to have to book in for and you can even make your own wedding rings which sounds like all kinds of fun!

ELMLEY NATURE RESERVE Personal Brand Shoot

The day I spent at Elmely Nature Reserve was just the most glorious winter’s day capturing the arrival of their new shepherd hut, The Damson! It is the most incredible space and has an outdoor bath with the most dreamy views over the marshland!

I flew my drone to capture the magic of Elmley from ‘up’ and the views were incredible! It always amazes me hoe different a landscape can look from up so high!
