Involved in Illness?

There are always many factors involved in illness, including diet, genetics, environment, stress levels, negative thought patterns, difficult experiences and emotions.
People’s challenging childhood experiences and suppressed emotions become stored in their cellular memories and can cause a lot of physical problems. The interconnection between unresolved negative emotions and disease is undeniable.
Scientific research has shown that negative thoughts, beliefs, attitudes and emotions weaken the nervous and immune systems and can lead to disease, while positive emotions release endorphins in our bodies, which result in health, happiness and wellbeing.
However, to heal, a person needs to work on several aspects of their life. This is why it is important to understand where the problems are coming from, so as to know the best way to address it. From my experience all ailments are telling us to pay attention, become conscious of what does not work, and start moving towards something that does.
Why is it important to understand the source of an illness?
It’s important to understand the source, so that you can heal yourself and let go of the limiting and destructive emotions, thoughts, experiences and behaviours which have played the role in creating your illness.
If you know what caused it, then you have the power and the choice to heal it and prevent it from re-occurring.
Can you give some examples of the messages our body can gives us when something is not right? PHYSICAL SYMPTOMS
Lack of energy, stress and tension in your body, pain, frequent colds, irritation, itching, illness, disease, infection, deteriorating of organs, falling, hurting yourself, etc. EMOTIONAL SYMPTOMS
Feeling angry, depressed, fearful, unhappy, guilty, and resentful. Playing a victim in relationships. Fighting with others. Feeling emotionally depleted, etc.
MENTAL SYMPTOMS
Critical thoughts which create negative experiences. Blaming others. Manifesting lack. Making silly mistakes. Having lack of clarity about your life.
SPIRITUAL SYMPTOMS
Feeling uninspired. Disconnected from the source of love, joy and guidance. Unable to see blessings in challenges.
LISTEN TO YOUR BODY
When I am teaching about the secret language of the body, I encourage people to listen to their bodies and discover what they can learn from each experience. Thus, life becomes richer and more whole.
A SIMPLE EXERCISE
A simple exercise you can do is: write down in which areas you are experiencing pain or blockage. Then start to explore how this physical or emotional pain is connected to what you say, what you think, what you feel and the life experiences you keep repeating.
I also encourage you to place your hands on the part of your body, where you are having challenges, breathe into that part of your body and ask, what story are you holding? What is the point of view that this part of you body is feeding? Is this a healthy or an unhealthy point of view? What would be a healthy perspective that you could discover that would allow you to find wisdom from this difficult situation? Give yourself time to connect to that wisdom. Once you have, focus on nourishing what is healthy for you.
