Grace and Peace to you all in the name of the Lord

Jesus. It is a pleasure to greet and introduce to you Rebirth of the Total Woman Magazine a publication designed for women, filled with information, and inspiration, to aid them in their journey towards wholeness. We have articles, and columns that speak to those areas of hurt, bitterness and resentment, anger and frustration, weaknesses and feelings of inadequacies while bringing moments of peace, a moment to breathe, times of laughter, times of refreshing, renewing and rebuilding of the spirit and the soul.

What is Rebirth? We talk more about this in the selftitled article rebirth, but simply put, the process of being born again; not just a spiritual rebirth, but emotional, financial, social, and psychological. Taking into consideration my own personal story of transformation, and the many women I have encountered since the publication of the original Kingdom’s Journal, it was only logical to make the change as we endeavor to help the American women of all nationalities, cultures, religious backgrounds, marital status, parent or not, and without regard to social class and status. In every neighborhood, subdivision, school house, church house, etc. there are hurting, dying women, that have suffered pains unimaginable, experienced brokenness, and/or are in search of a Fresh Start. As vast and dynamic of a country as is the United States of America, yet underneath the strength of the 21st century Super Power, lies a population of

women who go unnoticed, unheard, unseen, devalued, ridiculed and misunderstood, even though they walk among us, work among us and live among us. You can have two women living side by side for years in one neighborhood, never knowing that they live either very similar lives or very different lives.

Our goal here at Rebirth is to reeducate, restore, reintroduce these women to society as the phenomenal women they are, the gifted and talented creation of God as He intended. We salute the women that have chosen to make themselves vulnerable through the writings you will read in Rebirth. The articles and stories within will make you laugh, cry, rejoice, and prick your heart unto salvation. One writer tells of her journey from being diagnosed with two different types of cancer at the same time and her miraculous recovery in A Miracle in the Making; an author’s telling of the making of her newest book titled Anything’s Possible: a 47-Day Prophecy; and our feature story is of a woman diagnosed with lupus and ADHD while having a son with ADHD, her struggle daily, and how she overcame the disease to becoming a certified Life Coach in The New Face of ADHD & Lupus; Then, Pastor Darlene Richardson, takes us into the life of being the first lady and co-pastor with her husband; while we take a deeper look at marriage and divorce in Marriage and Family and How Survived Divorce. There is a poetry corner with my favorite pick of the season as we salute Dr. Maya Angelou. There are a host of other goodies to sink your teeth into as we celebrate women, and reach out to help those in need of a Savior. Join us at the altar for the Rebirth of the Total Woman. This season’s theme is Beauty for Ashes.
