GOING VIRAL In case you haven’t heard, Rec Sports is TikTok famous! Our marketing and communications team made the leap into the world of TikTok this year and have not stopped producing high quality content. “It has been so exciting seeing student workers in marketing and communications and other program areas come up with new and engaging ideas,” said Brittany Scott, Marketing Graduate Assistant. This initiative is student driven, with our student employees thinking of ideas and filming the content. Our TikTok account features a multitude of videos showing off different things at Rec Sports including trainers, highlights of Rec Sports facilities, and funny videos. “Getting started was a challenge, but through teamwork and collaboration we have been able to see our team’s creativity thrive!” commented Kelly VonDrehle, Marketing and Communications Manager. Our most popular video shows differences between belayers and climbers on our rock wall and has over 1 million views and 110,000 likes so far! Our content is sure to bring a smile to your face and make you laugh.
