For the last 4 years, RemaxAsia Expo has been the world’s largest print consumables event. This year, the show covered an area of 30,000 square meters (equivalent to 5 football fields), drawing 11,232 visitors from 82 countries to visit 432 exhibits from 20 countries worldwide.
OEMs and Aftermarket Talk IP and Brand Issues The Conference@2013 was held on October 16. Twenty international speakers shared their viewpoints on intellectual
property issues, industry trends, emerging market opportunities and other hot industry issues. The speakers included HP’s Worldwide Toner Competitive Response Manager and Worldwide IP & Brand Protection Programs Manager, the President of the Imaging Supplies Coalition, renowned patent attorneys from the US and Europe, and the General Director of Business Information and
Research Analyst at InfoTrends. For the second year in a row, the OEMs chose this event to engage face-to-face with the global aftermarket industry.

The Number of New Exhibitors Broke Records This year, the show attracted 100 new exhibitors, including Imaging Products Manufacturing from Turkey, Gen Copier International, Ningbo Veaye Printer Accessories, Nano Inkjet Corporation and Xiamen Kreyoly Office Supply. The proportion of new exhibitors as well as the total number of exhibitors this year broke all previous records.
Personalized Printing Solutions Heat Up Online personalized printing services have became very popular. Exhibitors which provided MPS solutions and supplies, photo books, corporate calendars and LOMO cards, attracted a great deal of attention.

Key Players Shared Know-how in Seminars Hundreds participated in 12 free seminars and workshops during the 3-day expo. Speakers from China, Russia, USA and Japan presented topics on chemical materials, manufacturing technologies, IP, emerging market
opportunities and 3D printing. UCAN and Print-Rite, among others, also introduced new products receiving good feedback.
3D Printing Had Its Grand Debut 3D printing was introduced to iPrint (China) Expo (held at the same date and same venue with RemaxAsia Expo) this year. It successfully drew 85 exhibitors and 5,500 visitors. Many visitors and exhibitors enjoyed the uniqueness of having the 2D and 3D printing on show.

Multiple Activities Enriched the Shows Visitors to the show were impressed by the variety of activities—seminars & workshops, the instant Weibo communications on the big screen, the patent and innovation award ceremony, the Indian-style lunch buffet for the Indian visitors, a breakfast gathering hosted by Print-Rite on the theme of “Only The IP Believers Survive” and grand dinner parties held by PrintRite and Ninestar.
Highly Commended by Exhibitors Many exhibitors—including Future Graphics, Static Control, IPM from
Turkey, InkBank and Integral from Germany—praised the organisers in their post expo feedback for the quality of visitors, attractiveness of the show, good communications and smooth operations.
