STAGE 5
• Subject Area Group Visioning Sessions Fall 2022
• Visioning Report Winter 2022-2023 (including all ideas collected in the Visioning Sessions)
• 2023 Council Retreat, Council included a focus on the congregational responses during Visioning Sessions. Specifically, to set priorities and identify which areas needed further discussion/research to facilitate the process of completing the master plan and to gauge impact on current ministries and budget.
• Preschool Expansion – expanding the program to full day, expanding the ages to include primary and beyond
• Affordable Housing – to look at the cost implications of the various types of affordable housing and the relationship to Lutheran Towers.
• Adult Day Programs – part day or full day programs, definitions of the population served and the demand in our area.
• Food Ministry – whether the nature of the food ministry will continue to change over time and how to best respond.
• The Master Planning Management Team has worked with Lord Aeck Sargent and Ennead to develop master plan options. Two conceptual plans resulted from that process.
No vote for approval has been taken. A final Master Plan report will be presented to Council once completed.
• No transactions are on the table today. No development partners have been identified at this time.
• The plan is still being developed. Primarily, a financial review of the two options produced needs to be completed and may impact the final form of the Master Plan.
• Additional Listening Posts will be conducted in September.
