Lutheran Church of the Redeemer’s Statement of Welcome

We serve a God of abundant grace and generosity Our worship is centered on the invitation that Christ offers at the communion table: all are welcome in this place. That welcome flows through all we do and say We open our arms to everyone who comes to share our love of God and all God’s people. We affirm and value the lives of everyone, including all who have been marginalized by ability, age, gender, gender identity, mental or physical health, poverty, race, sexual orientation, or any other circumstance Let our message be clear: all are welcome to participate fully in the life of our congregation.

Fifth Sunday after Epiphany Pastor Mark H Larson, preaching

The theme of the Day

The fifth Sunday after Epiphany continues to highlight unlikely instruments and circumstances appointed to reveal God’s glory. “Who will go for us?” God asks. A person of unclean lips, a former persecutor of the church of God, and three fishermen who couldn’t catch a thing. More surprising still, perhaps, is that we are also called.

CONGREGATIONAL MEETING | March 02, 2025

Meeting sessions to be held live following each Sunday worship service and also via Zoom at 10am

This meeting will serve as the Annual Meeting of the congregation There will be one motion from the council to be voted on and approved: Approval of the 2024 Annual Report

Lenten Small Groups

We are currently recruiting small group leaders for our annual Lenten small groups! This year we will be reading 'Belonging' by The Rev Dr Karoline Lewis, a Lutheran pastor and professor at Luther Seminary. The book helps readers to understand and live out Christian discipleship in a way that is most deeply authentic for themselves Pastor Lewis structures it around the story of the Samaritan woman at the well and guides the reader to discover deep connection with biblical characters who lead to selfdiscovery. If you are interested in leading a small group, please contact Pr Jonathan at jtrapp@redeemer org
