on Sunday Night. Centre stage is the All Dayer on Saturday in St George Park and Cafe Grounded with live music, activities and games for the young and old.
Like a happy beagle dancing through the perfumed fields of East Bristol, Redfest is once again bringing music and arts to the area. And it’s getting better with every year. It kicks off a with live score to Buster Keaton's Sherlock Jnr on Wednesday and closes with a gentle Drum and Bass session
In the park, kids activities kick off at 11am and you can dip into this year’s woodland theme as much or as little as you want! Dress up the kids, dress up yourself ... we’d love to see dancing squirrels and badgers getting down to the swinging hillbilly sounds of The Ten Pound Suit Band, or heavy jump up electro ska of headliners Magnus Puto. Food-wise, look out for falafel and chicken wraps, Caribbean food and a real ale, lager and cider bar

(all the nutrients you’ll ever need). There’s a market with over 20 stalls selling everything from handmade gifts and art to vintage clothes. You can sample some science with At-Bristol, or hang out in the trees with the Play Rangers, have a go at drama workshops in the community centre (if you're 7-18), or just chill out in one of the carpeted outdoor lounges and take in the atmosphere. This year there's even chances to try relaxing therapies and treatments from the Redfest Massage Tent, including Indian Head Massage, Yoga, Shiatsu, and Swedish Massage.
Once you've soaked up the sultry jazz, bounced through the dub reggae and pounded the ground for the headliners, finish the night in a closing party at The Old Stillage with live music from Three Kings High into the small hours. Join the community at Facebook.com/redfest to have a say about the area. Or just talk to us at the festival about your ideas for next year, or what we can do together on Church Rd to make it better for everyone. Redfest is here to celebrate Redfield, Whitehall, St George and its community. Join in and make it even more memorable than last year!
