PAL Contract Filler is a single pack, quick drying, water based filler, suitable for interior & exterior application.

USE ON: Timber, Masonry, Plaster, Primed metal

Handy Tips • PAL Contract Filler has minimal shrinkage so there is no need for excessive overfilling.

• PAL Contract Filler can be nailed, screwed or planed & is easily sanded.

• Clean tools in water before product drys. • Product can be reconstituted from a slightly dry form. • Comes in 250ml, 500ml, 1lt & 4lt pots. • Can be stained with a water based pigment or water based paint to match wood.

RECOMMENDED USES

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

• Filling cracks & holes on surfaces where no structural movement occurs • For both interior & exterior substrates • Filling cracks & chips in walls, ceilings, doors & window frames

1. All surfaces need to be clean & dry with no loose or powdery material 2. Press PAL Contract Filler firmly into place with a filling knife 3. For deeper cavities apply in layers up to 8mm thick, allowing each layer to dry completely before applying the next layer 4. Fast dry – nail holes in 15 minutes, large holes 3 hours. Allow to dry before sanding & painting 5. Drying time will be extended in humid or cold conditions. Do not apply below 5°C 6. Once set sand to a feathered edge for a perfect finish

PAL Zero Gaps is a one-part water based, paintable acrylic gap filler.

DESCRIPTION PAL Zero Gaps is a general purpose, gunnable one-part water based, paintable acrylic gap filler. This easy to use, economical sealant provides excellent adhesion for gaps and low movement joints.

Sealing cracks in plasterboard. Sealing window and door frames. Sealing around ceramic tiles. Sealing low movement joints.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS 1. Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust and grease. 2. Remove all loose material (including old filler) from working area. 3. Apply sealant into crack or gap by pushing PAL Zero Gaps ahead of nozzle thus ensuring that sealant contacts both sides of

the joint and is pushed firmly into place. 4. Scrape off lightly with a putty knife or similar tool dipped in clean water for a smooth, even finish. 5. Clean off excess with a damp cloth immediately.

PRECAUTION - NOT RECOMMENDED FOR: • Use underwater. • Use where abrasion or physical abuse can be expected. • Use sealing submerged joints.

• Application on damp substrates. • Joints subject to movements over 10% • Do not use in external applications where rain is imminent within 4 hours.

PAINTABILITY PAL Zero Gaps can be painted over with most types of paint. In most cases PAL Zero Gaps can be painted over in 2 hours, this is dependent on gap size and depth. In general the large the gap size the longer the drying time.

HEALTH AND SAFETY On contact, uncured sealant causes irritation. Gloves and protective goggles must be worn during application and use. • Avoid contact with skin, eyes and avoid breathing in vapour. • If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre. • If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Give a glass of water.

• Wear protective gloves when mixing or using. • If skin contact occurs, remove contaminated clothing and wash skin thoroughly for a minimum of 15 minutes and see a doctor.

CLEAN-UP

STORAGE

Water or damp cloth when still wet.

Store in cool dry conditions for a shelf life of twelve (12) months. Store away from oxidising agents and acids.

FIRE PAL Zero Gaps is non-flammable.
