Through a diverse range of immersive and thought-provoking works, the exhibition explores views of our culture, our identity and our nationhood. Reflecting Australia’s multi-cultural, multi-ethnic and multifaith nature, this audacious exhibition enables a creative and often very personal exploration of the question ‘is there something new under the sun?’

The 15 artists not only interrogate the social and political implications embedded within this image but also challenge the status of this photograph in our visual culture. Pushing the boundaries of the photographic medium, their works will expose the aesthetical complexities at play in discussions around collective identity. In the immensity of the Blue Mountains natural environment, the elements of earth, water, air and fire surround us. In our daily experience, we live with the grand scale of canyons and etched peaks, changing atmospherics over endless forests, spectacular cascades and reflective pools, torrents of rain and gentle mists, always anticipating the destruction and renewal created by fire. The Elements - Earth Water Air Fire is a thematic exhibiton developed by Guest Curator, Susan Cochrane, with

wholemeal crepes with passionfruit and mint yoghurt
Light and fluffy wholemeal crepes with rich passionfruit and mint yogurt filling - the all-round perfect dessert!

INGREDIENTS • 3/4 cup wholemeal plain flour • 2 teaspoons caster sugar • 3 eggs, lightly beaten • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil • 1 cup milk • Canola oil spray • 1 cup vanilla yoghurt • 1 tablespoon shredded fresh mint leaves • 2 passionfruit, halved (see note) • 1/4 cup pistachio kernels, toasted, chopped METHOD Step 1 Sift flour into a bowl. Stir in sugar. Whisk egg, oil and milk together in a large jug. Gradually add egg mixture to flour mixture, whisking until smooth and
combined. Cover. Set aside for 30 minutes. Step 2 Spray an 18cm (base) non-stick frying pan with oil. Heat over medium heat. Pour 1/4 cup batter into pan. Swirl to cover base. Cook for 2 minutes or until light golden. Turn. Cook for 1 minute. Transfer to a plate. Cover to keep warm. Repeat with remaining mixture to make 8 crepes. Step 3 Place yoghurt, mint and half the passionfruit pulp in a bowl. Stir to combine. Step 4 Fold crepes in half. Top each with 1 1/2 tablespoons yoghurt mixture. Fold in half again to enclose filling. Place on plates. Top with pistachios and remaining passionfruit pulp. Serve. Source: www.taste.com.au

METHOD Step 1 Fill a large heatproof bowl with iced water. Combine the fruit juice and ginger in a small saucepan over high heat and bring to the boil. Reduce heat to mediumlow and simmer for 15 minutes or until thickened slightly. Remove from heat. Place the base of the saucepan in the bowl of iced water for 10 minutes to cool. how to install solar garden lighting Solar powered lights in the garden look great and help save money on your power bill. Whether it’s in your front or backyard, they’re easy to install yourself. We’ll show you how to assemble the lights and how to activate the solar powered batteries. STEP 1. DECIDE WHERE TO PUT THE SOLAR LIGHTS
Insert the support pole into the head of the solar light. Then attach the stake firmly into the bottom of the support pole. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to assemble all of the other lights in the pack.
STEP 6. ASSEMBLE THE BUTTERFLY LIGHT
STEP 4. INSTALL THE LIGHTS
To assemble the butterfly light, insert the support pole into the base of the butterfly. Then attach the stake.
Before you start, decide where you want to place the garden lights. In this instance, they’re being placed along a path. This is being done for safety reasons and to make the path stand out at night.
STEP 7. SWITCH THE CHARGER ON
Make sure you place the lights somewhere that they will get enough sunlight, this will let them shine brighter for longer. To install the lights, insert the stake into the ground. Place the solar lights an even distance apart. Check to make sure that the light is secure and won’t fall or be blown over.
STEP 2. REMOVE THE TAG
STEP 5. REMOVE THE STICKER The first step is to remove the top of the solar light and pull out the tag that stops the solar battery from recharging. Put the top of the light back together. Make sure you do this for all of the solar lights or they won’t work.
There’s a switch underneath the solar panel for the butterfly, turn it on, so the battery will start charging. Remove the sticker covering the solar panel. STEP 8. INSTALL THE BUTTERFLY LIGHT
STEP 3. ASSEMBLE THE SOLAR LIGHTS After you’ve placed your solar lights where you want them, peel off the sticker that covers the solar panel, on the top of the lights. The solar lights will now start charging.
Choose the ideal location for your butterfly light, it could be in your garden or a pot plant. Firmly insert the stake into the ground. Make sure the light is secure and won’t fall or be blown over.
