athfinny Wine Estate has announced it’s reopening plans for their wine tourism offer to wine, dine, tour and stay on their Sussex Vineyard. Rathfinny Estate, located in East Sussex, was established in 2010 by husband and wife team, Mark and Sarah Driver. Eleven years later, it is now producing Sussex Sparkling wine that rivals the world’s finest Traditional Method sparkling wines and is served in the finest bars, restaurants and hotels nationally and internationally.
As the country emerges from the pandemic, Rathfinny will be offering an array of ‘wine-filled’ experiences for customers to dine, stay, tour & taste, and shop on the picturesque Vineyard. The reopening also coincides with the release of their new sparkling wines - 2017 Classic Cuvée and 2017 Blanc de Blancs - so this summer will be the perfect time to plan a food and wine getaway. With the popularity of wine tourism growing in England, Sarah Driver says “we believe there is nothing better than a wine-filled weekend where you can taste worldclass sparkling wine on the land that it was produced. We can’t wait to get customers back to the Estate to try our new vintages”. Rathfinny Sussex Sparkling wine has received glowing praise from wine critics including Will Lyons from The Sunday Times describing Rathfinny’s 2016 Blanc de Noirs “decedent and world-class” in its list of best wines to buy last summer.
