La Marihuana Legal llega a Missouri

2-3-2023.- Recreational marijuana is now legally available in Missouri. St. Louis residents who’ve purchased recreational marijuana at Metro East dispensaries say the convenience of having local shops and lower taxes will make Missouri locations more attractive. Keep in mind sales are cash only because weed is still illegal at the federal level. And it’s still illegal on the Kansas side of the state line.

Officials also add that just because it’s legal in the state doesn’t mean there are no restrictions.

Missouri workers can still be disciplined for marijuana use. One lawyer we spoke to said a medical marijuana card gives people more protection, but employers can still fire workers for using marijuana on the job or for being under the influence while working.
