Goodbye to cheap financing of companies

that the economic crisis puts on the table.

By Adriana Gallardo

The cycles of increases in interest rates show us that the times of millionaire financing are over. This makes finding investors increasingly difficult and companies that lose money in each operation are forced to adjust their strategies.

In turn, the birth and growth of companies represents a greater challenge. Before, they arose not because of the success and innovation of their ideas or because of their solid business plans, but because of the financing from different investment funds to which they had access.

Now we know that a successful company needs more than luck or million-dollar financing. It requires willingness, mindset and leadership. Cheap money, just as it comes, goes. For this reason, businessmen must be prepared to react and face the challenges

It is precisely for this reason that we recently launched “Empodérate”, our first virtual conference, totally free, where renowned speakers such as Fernando Celis, an expert on mindset issues; Fernando Anzures, marketing; Cristina Cuellar, team building; Ingrid Macher, digital marketing and social networks, and Carlos Márquez, sales; They nurtured more than 2,500 people from different parts of the world with their knowledge.

In addition, I shared the four-pillar system that has served as the foundation for me to achieve success, found companies, and overcome three economic crises, without sacrificing growth.

Why should we promote events of this type? Because Hispanics are an outstanding group of entrepreneurs who do not give up when faced with the challenges of starting our own company. In the last 10 years alone, 44% more companies generated them than the nonLatino population in the US.

Now what?

In addition, we are the ones who take the most care of our collaborators. According to the “State of Latino Entrepreneurship 2021”, the percentage of Latino entrepreneurs that offer health insurance (55%) is higher, compared to the rest of non-Latin American companies (44%).

For this reason, we must create more growth spaces for Latino entrepreneurs, and share tools, techniques and processes that allow solid companies to develop and grow.
