Dear comrades, We address our comradely greetings to the 1st Congress of the Party of Communists that will take place on 1-3 of April in New York. We very attentively follow the developments in the USA and the efforts that are being made in its labour movement. We thank you for your solidarity with the struggles of the class-oriented trade union movement of PAME, with the struggles of the popular strata. These are tough struggles in which the KKE plays the leading role and are being waged in the very difficult conditions of the prolonged capitalist crisis, the sharpening of the contradictions in the EU, the intensification of the imperialist competition that creates war flashpoints in the region and major flows of refugees, in conditions of realignments in the imperialist system and the intensity of capital's onslaught in every country. The labour and communist movement still encounters serious difficulties at an international level. The tide of counterrevolution, of the overthrow of the socialist relations of production, has not ended. At the same time, the capitalist crisis brings weaknesses and delays to the surface in a more intense way. There continues to be pressure to trap the communist parties and forces into supporting bourgeois forces, governments and capitalist inter-state alliances. However nothing negates the fact that capitalism in its monopoly, imperialist stage is historically outdated and has nothing to offer the people apart from crises, wars and misery. For this reason the working class needs the strengthening of communist forces in each country, the building of CPs, based on Marxism-Leninism, with an elaborated strategy that corresponds to the character of our era, the era of the transition to socialism. The restoration of to the labour movement’s link with Marxism-Leninism, in places where this relationship was has been eroded and broken by opportunism, will be a complex and long term process. It will require the rehabilitation of the revolutionary traditions together with the critical examination of the historical experience of the movement in each country. It is a difficult but necessary course for the organization and development of the class struggle, for the defence of the immediate and more general interests of the working class, of the poor popular strata. Dear Comrades: Warm Greetings to the PCUSA on its First Party Congress. The formation of the PCUSA in the year 2014 was a very significant step forward for the communist movement in the USA. It represented a sharp break with long-standing revisionism. This is abundantly clear from the eight points of Marxist-Leninist Unity which are upheld by the party: the defence of the Leninist-Stalinist tradition, of historical socialism while at the same time being hostile to the rise of what is called ‘market socialism’; support of the principle of democratic centralism in the building up of the Communist Party; for the principle of proletarian internationalism and the dictatorship of the proletariat as the precondition for the establishment of a socialist society; opposition to imperialism and the support to the national liberation movements. The PCUSA, moreover, stands against modern revisionism, anarchism, Trotskyism, the ultra-left, Eurocommunism. The work of the PCUSA is of crucial importance as it is functioning at the central headquarters of US imperialism which represents the most dangerous enemy of all mankind. The establishment of a genuine Communist Party in the United States means that the comrades have a whole spectrum of serious responsibilities on their shoulders. Not only is there an imperative to comprehend the Marxist-Leninist theoretical, ideological and political tasks in an era which still dominated by the heritage of the survivals of Soviet revisionism but it is also imperative for the communists to link up with the struggles of the working class and strike roots in this class such that the PCUSA becomes a genuine mass communist workers’ party. Since then, and despite the titanic efforts made at various times, the task of building the party of the proletariat has remained unresolved in that country. Now, the comrades are undertaking the glorious mission of rescuing the best traditions of the U.S. communists, and have launched the fight in the difficult conditions today for the construction of the party of the U.S. working class. You are making strenuous efforts to build and strengthen your party, in the fight against the exploitation of the working class exercised by the imperialist bourgeoisie; against the oppression, discrimination and xenophobia against blacks and immigrants; for democracy and peace and against the war policy that the U.S. ruling circles is carrying out in its search for world hegemony. Communist Party of Mexico / Political Bureau of the Central Committee To the First Congress of the Party of Communists USA Dear Comrades: We regret not being present to participate in the work of this First Congress, which we consider encouraging, it shows signs of the recomposition of the class-conscious U.S. workers who are taking up Marxism-Leninism and the need for a communist party. On behalf of the entire membership of the Communist Party of Mexico, as well as of the Federation of Young Communists, we want to express our fraternal greetings and wishes for the success of the deliberations of your congress. We know the adverse conditions in which you are undertaking your activities, against the tide, after years of neo-Browderism with its effects of dissolution on the activity of the U.S. Communists. It was not easy before, nor will it be in the present and future, but the existence of a communist party is a basic precondition for the emancipation of the working class. Historically, the U.S. Communists, in addition to facing the reactionary policies of anti-communism, have also had to confront revisionism and the opportunist currents that have sought to strip it of its features of communist identity, including Browderism that already tried once to liquidate it. At that time the U.S. Communists were not alone, they counted on the solidarity of the communist movement that unmasked the true objectives of Earl Browder and his current. Today this phenomenon is being repeated, because capitalism in its imperialist needs to protect its internal fortress, and thinks that this is a way to contain the class struggle. We welcome the various efforts to reorganize a communist party in the U.S., and we are convinced of the development of closer relations based on proletarian internationalism and class solidarity. We wish to have a bilateral meeting as soon as you can, in order to make closer the relationship and common activity corresponding to the communist parties of our neighboring countries, with an agenda of struggle against these monopolies and policies of domination, which will contributes to strengthening the unity of the multinational U.S. working class and the Mexican working class, the migrant workers, the anti-imperialist struggle, the fight against NAFTA and against the TPP, against exploitation and for socialism. We propose that such a meeting be in Mexico, because we are prevented by the current McCarthyism from entering U.S. territory. If possible we would like a U.S. communist comrade to join us in this May Day of struggle. We are sure that the common work is a necessity and that we must seek close cooperation. Your congress takes place under the conditions of the ongoing international situation’s aggravation as well as under the world economic crisis that has been under way since 2008. We know that PCUSA proclaims adherence to Marxism-Leninism and resolutely rejects the revisionist course adopted by CP USA that is actually aimed at dissolution of the communist party and that has lost any right to be called a communist party and turned into a specific leftist appendix of the Democratic Party. From the Marxist-Leninist doctrine they only retained the historical tradition, name and as in the case of Gorbachev certain communist choice. Both our parties believe that under the condition of the existing capitalism there is no solution for social problems of society and that the way out could only be found on the path of liquidation of exploitation of man by man, i.e. on the path to socialism, hence by way of socialist revolution. We are sure that genuine communists will take into consideration the mistakes of the USSR communists that would enable them to come to correct conclusions on necessity to constantly fight against opportunism and revisionism of Marxist-Leninist theory and to develop adequate revolutionary strategy and tactics of struggle applicable to the modern conditions. We wish the congress should find a solution for the most important issue: increasing the ability to become a leading force, strengthening your militancy and the capability of the party to direct the struggle of the working masses. Dear Comrades, I congratulate the foundation and unification congress of your party with gratitude and revolutionary emotions on behalf of my party. I believe that the congress will be successful. We know that how important your party’s foundation is, for the world proletariat and revolutionary movement. Because, USA is a big country. And it has a large working class population. Activities by class consciences workers of USA with leading of their party would be effective for the world proletariat. International Proletariat Movement got huge hits after the collapse of the USSR 25 years ago. Imperialists, they declared that communism and Marxism-Leninism were defeated. Depression and dispersion were spread among the working class and its parties. New revisionist thesis was more effective among revolutionary lines. Theories like 21st century socialism, civil-societism, radical democracy were appeared. Some revolutionary parties transformed to social democratic and reformist parties. But, the commitments to freedom and equality that were promised by new world order was not materialized. Therefore, Marxism and Leninism started to regain its prestigious position among the working class and honest intellectuals. Conference of International Marxist-Leninist Parties and Organizations- ICMLPO which also includes our party has worked since 1994. Activities of ICMLPO is spreading and gaining strength day by day. On the other hand, in addition to not materializing commitments of new world order to laborers, they started to plunder economic, democratic and social rights of working class who had a great contribution to establish of Soviet Union. Like increasing retirement age, decreasing wages, de-unionization, large scale unemployment, spreading part-time work, increasing work hours, carrying production to the poor countries and condensation of exploitation. While imperialists are reversing the gains of working class, they started to occupy, to divide and to provoke civil wars in Middle East via Extended Project of Middle East and North Africa. Afghanistan and Iraq were occupied. Libya’s control was given to tribes. In Syria, they picked a civil war. They intervened in politics of Tunisia and Egypt, which countries have overthrown their dictators. Therefore, they gave them to Moderate Islamists- who are collaborationists of imperialists. In our country, in Turkey, Moderate islamist AKP came to the power with their supports. However, AKP- called as Moderate Islam- in a short time turned out to be radical Islam. On the other hand, imperialists started to plunder Eastern Europe, Transcaucasia and Asia countries which are allied with former USSR. They exerted to end their relationship with Russia, taking over their factories and natural sources without any cost and taking over the control of them via military agreements. Yugoslavia was divided. Civil wars and wars appeared in Georgia and other Transcaucasian countries. Lastly Ukraine was divided. Now, imperialists started to interest themselves with East Asia. Beginning with USA in 2008, overproduction crisis in a short time was spread all over the world. National economies shrank. Wages of laborers were decreased, unemployment rate increased. Wars and economic crisis came up with the result that massive immigration has started. When people immigrated to big capitalist countries, they were drowned, died on the borders. While we are entering to the centenary of the Great October Revolution, it was understood again that capitalism has not so much to do for humanity and the future of the world. Many people began to re-read Marx because of economic crisis. Tendency to Marxism-Leninism increased. It is an important development that this new attempt to fight adhering to the principles of Marxism-Leninism with the unification of communists of USA and a new party is in this new tendency. We are sure that this tendency will establish new Marxist-Leninist parties in many countries. And powers of revolutionary proletariat will continuously grow up to rise. United National Anti-War Coalition April 1, 2016 Dear Comrades and Friends, I’m sorry that due to health reasons I am unable to join you today at your conference. I want to wish you a productive conference and hope that the Party of Communists USA and UNAC can continue our productive work together. We live in a dangerous world of war without end. We in the U.S., in the belly of the beast, have a special responsibility to the people of the world. We must fight to end US imperialism. The US is by far the main threat to the people of the world. In its decline, US capitalism looks to globalization and neo-liberal policies to try and maintain an ever increasing rate of profit. This it can do only through grabbing an ever greater share of the world’s resources and continuing its squeeze for more profits from working people abroad and at home. To do this, the US has maintained close to 1000 foreign military bases, a number about 20 times that of all other countries in the world combined. This military force is used to ensure that all countries are subservient to the US. So in this period, war is not only inevitable but continuous. In this stage of its existence, US capitalism cannot exist without war. So today, an antiwar movement is a direct threat to capitalism. Russia and China in particular stand in the way of complete US domination. These countries, however, are nuclear powers, and so the very existence of humanity is threatened by US aggression. In UNAC we strive for unity because it is only together that we have the potential to end the wars at home and abroad. Revolutionary Greetings to the 1 Congress of the Party of Communists USA from the National Steering Committee of the Zimbabwe Communist League st
2nd April 2016 Comrades! We are all aware of the violent expansion of imperialist interests worldwide. Libya Syria, Yemen, Iraq, Afghanistan have been mercilessly bombed by the terrorist forces of NATO led by the USA fronted by the liberal-fascists, Hilary Clinton and Barrack Obama. In Zimbabwe and southern and central Africa we are particularly mindful of the DR Congo War of 1998-2003. This war killed, according to UN statistics, 5.4 million people, thus making it the most costly war since the Second World War in human lives. This war was initiated by Bill Clinton who armed Uganda and Rwanda to topple the government of President Laurent Kabila who had committed the colossal error (in their eyes) of renegotiating mining contracts in order to build the infrastructure of the Democratic Republic of Congo and give its people decent living standards. Hilary Clinton distinguished herself as a “feminist” at this period by complaining about rape being used as a weapon of war – in this war started by her own husband. We here also wish to recognize the destruction of Libya by terrorist NATO bombers. Libya at that time had the highest Human Development Index in Africa, free education, a free health service and even free electricity. The destruction of Libya had a twofold purpose. One was to steal oil. The other was to prevent Comrade Gaddafi from introducing a new, gold-based currency for Africa against the interests of the Western bankers. Following the bombing came the invasion by al-Qaeda mercenaries paid by the United States who carried out a merciless campaign of genocide against all black people, whether foreign or Libyan. The whole town of Tawergha was destroyed and around half of its population massacred. Barrack Obama killed more black Libyans in one year than the Ku Klux Klan killed black Americans in its entire existence. It was Omani mercenaries who foully murdered Comrade Gadaffi. As orthodox mainstream Communists we do not normally support break-away movements. But the abject groveling of the CPUSA leadership towards Obama in particular and the Democratic Party in general has made it impossible for us to have fraternal relations
with them. We have therefore built up a relationship with a principled organization, the Party of Communists USA. As Zimbabwean Communist we have noted in our own country and in Africa as a whole the Dual Nature of the African Struggle. On the one hand there is the struggle against imperialism; on the other the internal class struggle. In the second case, we are more and more confronted by the stratum which we refer to as the “parasitic black bourgeoisie”. This stratum frequently (and often correctly) comes up with strong speeches against imperialism. Meanwhile, back home, they regard the armed national liberation struggles as having been for their personal benefit. They take over whiteowned companies and farms. But we are sorry to say, but it is the truth, that the former white bourgeoisie, despite their racial arrogance, knew that in order to keep exploiting the workers they also had to pay them. What we are now seeing in Zimbabwe is that most of the skilled workforce has been effectively expelled from the country by the parasites and that most skilled Zimbabweans are working in the surrounding countries, especially South Africa and Botswana. In Zimbabwe, workers are striking not for more money, but purely to get paid while the elite basks in luxury. We advise Comrades from the PCUSA to read what Comrade Frantz Fanon said in 1961 The Pitfalls of National Consciousness a chapter of The Wretched of the Earth – as one of our young comrades said recently, “ It is like it was written yesterday” . As Communists, we are mindful of the fact that the imperialists are waiting on the sidelines to completely re-colonize our country. That is why we are trying now to build up a force which will take over from the violent, rapacious and discredited ZANU(PF) and combat the Western-backed MDC. The Zimbabwe Communist League is the only political organization in Zimbabwe with a coherent strategy to build a National Democratic Economy based on a National Economic Plan linked to Devolution of Power to the People. The restoration of production must be the first step in reviving our country. The Zimbabwe Communist League is having discussions with the Communist Group of Zimbabwe and the Communist Movement of Zimbabwe, but mindful of the lack of ideological clarity which we feel these two groups have. We are conducting political education both in Zimbabwe and South Africa, particularly among our youth. It is our intention that when we have a sufficiently large and capable young cadre force that we will call a Congress and form ourselves into a Party. Then, the older cadres will step back and allow the youth to take the main leadership positions. We hope to do this in December 2017. Long Live Communism!!
