• Men’s Basketball hired their new Head Coach in Grant McCasland

• The Athletics Department received its largest one-time gift of $25M to the renovation of the Football Training Facility

• Texas Tech Football beat the University of Texas and University of Oklahoma in the same season for the first time in school history. They capped off their best season in 10 years by beating Ole Miss in the Texas Bowl, which was the program’s second consecutive bowl win over an SEC opponent.

• Baseball Coach Tim Tadlock recently reached his 400th career coaching win at Texas Tech

• Red Raider student-athletes were recognized with Dr. Gerald Lage Awards, the Big 12 Conference’s highest academic honor
