Many countries have already participated as a national pavilion.
Quotes of national pavilion organisers We have been exhibiting at TIBF for many years. In 2013, as the Theme Country, we presented special exhibits of Korea's heritage in the UNESCO Memory of the World Programme, and the Japan – Korea publication exchange programme including 100 different titles under the theme of traditional and contemporary culture, art, music, tourism, etc. We believe that sharing our thoughts and appreciation of books at TIBF hugely contributes to our mutual understanding and close relationship.
As the Theme Country at TIBF 2014, we believe that we were able to make a huge impact on the Japanese publishing market. At the Malaysia Pavilion, we held special presentation that was a fusion of books and culture, which was very successful. Tourism Malaysia also joined us in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2014, and promoted our beautiful country as an ideal tourist destination. Overall, we are very satisfied with the impressive results.
