1. What is “I wish”?Global Leaders’ Summit 2011 Mexico City I Wish Campaign Booklet
As all of you know, Global Leaders´ Summit 2011 is going to be placed in Mexico City from February 17th to the 26th, being one of the biggest conferences organized by our organization.
All the country is working really hard to provide you one of the most rewarding experiences, that’s why we’ve created “I Wish”.
I Wish is a campaign where you will be able to develop or present a successful project of your country, showing what you wish to change in the world and how your project will help/is helping on it. The campaign is designed to provide the countries the opportunity to speak out loud and show to the world how AIESEC is impacting on each society through the different initiatives running on it.
BUT. .. Global Leaders’ Summit 2011 Mexico City I Wish Campaign Booklet
How is this relevant for GLS 2011? Global Leaders’ Summit 2011 Mexico City I Wish Campaign Booklet
Trough the Global Leaders’ Summit, Mexico is aiming to involve different sectors of the social environment to demonstrate how’s AIESEC a platform to impact in the society by presenting the young talent that runs our organization, increasing the positioning not only in our country but also encouraging the global network countries to develop and implement relevant projects to keep impacting on each one of its societies. In November 2010, Mexico will be in the public eye as the hostess of the “Local and Regional Leaders World Summit”, event where AIESEC in Mexico will have the opportunity to show to the diverse world leaders the potential and direct Impact that the association has on its different countries.
Maybe you’re wondering. ..
How are they going to do it?
Who’s the best person to develop a project of a local/national issue?
The young people living it! Our CC Team is in negotiations to present to the different world governments coming to Mexico the participant projects related to each country. We believe that there’s no individual or group of people more precise to develop a possible solution for a social issue on its nation than the people living on it. It is important for you to know that this project is nothing more than a PBOX, having the exchange results and learning environment needed so you can demonstrate and describe the relevance and impact the initiative had on your society.
