Head Coach - Rick Wolf

Coach Wolf is in his 17th season as a coach and teacher at Regis Jesuit High School, and in his 7th season as head coach. Coach Wolf is a graduate of Regis University where he played his collegiate soccer with Assistant Coach Gilhooly. Coaching has been a true blessing in Coach Wolf’s life as he’s had the opportunity to watch quality young men thrive on and off the soccer field both during and after their time at Regis Jesuit.

Inspirational figure: Bl . Rupert Mayer, SJ (1876-1945) . A man of integrity and character .

Favorite memory from coaching:

Participating in 16 (soon to be 17 Jesuit Classics), watching players return for the annual Alumni Game, and being able to share these moments with my assistant coaches .

Assistant Coach Tommy Gilhooly Thomas Gilhooly is the Raiders assistant coach in his third season. Gilhooly is a Denver native, who was the 1991 Colorado High School Player of the Year, First-Team All-American and U-17 National Club Champion. Gilhooly was a four-year starter for the Regis University men’s soccer team, the 1993 Forward of the Year and 1996 MVP. During his time at Regis, Gilhooly helped lead the team to four conference title appearances, a 1993 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championship and a pre-season national ranking of No. 6 in 1994. Gilhooly’s coaching experience ranges from youth to college. He is currently also the volunteer assistant coach for the Regis University men’s team. He was the head coach of Thomas Jefferson High School at the age of 22. In his inaugural year, he led the team to its first conference title and postseason appearance, narrowly losing in double overtime to eventual champion Broomfield in the quarterfinals. Thomas is married to his wife Nicole for 20 years, has three kids, Sean (16) who attends RJ, Brooklyn (13), and James (10).

Winning back to back conference championships, and the Jesuit classic .

Assistant Coach Garret Loehr - Goalkeeping Coach Coach Loehr is starting his 3rd season at RJ as the program goalkeeper coach. He has previously coached at Rockhurst High School and St. Teresa’s Academy (Kansas City, MO) as a Varsity assistant and goalkeeper coach. He also was the Director of Goalkeeping for KC Blaze Soccer Club from 2015-2017, and currently coaches club level goalkeeping for Total Goalie 360 and Barcelona Elite. Coach Loehr played goalkeeper at Rockhurst University (Kansas City, MO) and the University of Mary (Bismarck, ND), including 3 NCAA D2 Final Fours. Coach Loehr played high school soccer for Rockhurst High School. Coach Loehr teaches Spanish and French in the Boys and Girls divisions. Soccer and goalkeeping are my passion, and to share not only the skills but the culture of the game allows for lifelong connections with athletes.

Assistant Coach Derek Scarth Derek Scarth is in his 3rd season as an assistant coach with the Regis Jesuit boy’s varsity soccer team. Derek is a graduate of Regis University where he played his collegiate soccer with assistant Coach Gilhooly. In addition to having coached for the Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club for over 10 years, Derek has coached for the Regis University Men’s soccer team and Colorado Christian University Women’s soccer program. Derek is a Managing Partner for Ratio Wealth Group in Denver, Colorado. He also is a proud Board Trustee Member for Regis University. It is an honor to be part of such a great community and soccer family at Regis Jesuit. I love helping these young men thrive on the field and hopefully provide some tools they can use after high school in the spirit of service to others. Inspirational figure: Fr . Charles Shelton S .J . (Regis Jesuit HS 1976-1979; Regis University 1998-2014) - Passed away January 20, 2014 .

Having former players intern for me prior to heading off to college. Also discussing coaching philosophies with the staff from Gonzaga College High School during my first Jesuit Classic .

Coach Dustin Dvorak - JV

Coach Dvorak has been coaching at Regis for 9 years . He started coaching the Red team and after several years and several league titles began coaching JV. Coach Dvorak has been playing soccer his entire life and played at Smoky Hill High School where he got to experience two state championships . During his playing career he played for both Aurora Sting and Storm (both now Rapids) and had a three year stint on the state ODP team. Coach Dvorak and his wife have two kids who both love playing and watching soccer .

Coach Evan Niebur - White Team

Coach Dustin Paul '07 - Red Team

Coach Paul is in his second year coaching at RJHS . He is a graduate of Benedictine College (’11) where he played three years of collegiate soccer .

I coach because… I love the sport and am honored to be able to give back to the program that gave me so much .

Favorite memory from coaching

at RJ… beating Rock Canyon last year 2-1 after tying them earlier in the season . My coaching philosophy… Defense wins championships .
