Attention Home Inspectors! The City of Rising Sun has received a grant from the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority from the Community Development Block Grant Program for an Owner-occupied Housing Rehabilitation program. The project will address code violations and assist homeowners with minor rehab/repair work to approximately ten (10) homes located within the Rising Sun City limits and Ohio County. A whole-house inspection will be per formed on all ten (10) properties along with one (1) final inspection upon completion of the rehabilitation work. The City of Rising Sun is accepting proposals for the inspection services for the rehabilitation pro gram. Such sale will be held on 9/18/2012 at the Courthouse Conference Room and that sale will continue until all tracts and real property have been offered for sale.
