It is up to your choice whether you want to exercise on your own, share experiences within a group or train with a professional coach.
After your workout you can cherish the luxurious SPA-area spread across our two hotels, offering you a special wellness experience on over 14.000 m2. GOLF IS THE MAIN THEME OF THE RESERVE SÜDBURGENLAND. We have two playgrounds for golfers: The Lichtenwald practice area with a 9-hole course and the Championship Course with 18 holes. Furthermore Austria’s biggest driving ranch is also part of our Reserve, offering you enough space for further training sessions.
In our very own golf academy, professionals train with beginners and advanced players, helping them to perfect ones talent with their expertise and advice. For those who wish to have more variety to improve their skills during their stay, there is also the possibility to visit our second golf course 25 km away from the Reserve at the SPA Resort Stegersbach. If you are staying more than 7 days a visit at this Reserve is free.

! TRACKMAN III NEW Starting this year, we are using the TRACKMAN III during training sessions at the REITERS GOLF ACADEMY. It is a special radar measurement device, which in addition to a video swing analysis also gives you detailed information about the factors influencing your ball flight usually invisible to the eye.
With the help of this device we can offer you more efficient and individual solutions for your game. Professional golf teachers are filtering the relevant data, thereby maximizing the benefit for the best possible improvement and development of their students.

Group lessons for 2 to 4 people Learning within and from groups can benefit you in many ways. In training sessions within small groups of 2 to 4 people you will find enough time to train, compare, motivate, support each other and share new experiences with the help of a professional. In short: Learning and having fun together at the same time. Golf is a team sport without fear of personal contact. So why not train together as well? Your individual physical factors will be considered during training lessons, as well as whether your equipment suits your training level. BEGINNER COURSE You have never played golf before, but are curious to give it a first try and get to know this wonderful sport? Then gain your first experience with golf in a 2-day course, where you will learn basic skills such as swing, short game and putting. We are happy to answer all your questions about the sport, such as which equipment to use, etiquette, simple golf rules or how to improve your handicap or even enter a tournament. 4 units in 2 days

PERMISSION TO PLAY WITHIN 5 DAYS In case you have decided to start playing golf frequently, a license to play is required. We therefore offer a 5-day course, where you will learn all the necessary skills and rules needed to start off with your first holes on the golf course.
At the end of this course you should know the basic techniques of playing a quick game, as well as easy solutions for special game situations on the court. We are sure that you will
experience a first sense of achievement during the course, enhancing the fun of playing the game. However, consistency and regularity during the play are things that will only come into existence after pursued training and cannot be reached during this 5-day training course.
Nonetheless, learning the most important golf rules for guaranteeing a safe and fair play for you and other golfers as well as knowing how to spare the turf and becoming familiar with the required etiquette are of high priority to us. In case you prove yourself especially talented there is also the opportunity to acquire the permission for playing tournaments, if you fulfill the necessary requirements. Otherwise we recommend that you get your license within 2 private lessons after more training and as soon as you feel ready to handle a 9-hole course with the required number of shots.

2-DAY COURSE FOR EVERY HANDICAP
You are unable to practice what your learned on the range and use or skills on an actual golf course? Then our on course teaching is what you need! You will be working on different strategies of how you can use your skills to score well on a 9-hole course with the help of a professional trainer. We will be working on your game preparation, strategic planning for playing a hole, your pre-swing-routine, the right choice of clubs, different swing-techniques and different factors influencing your mental strength relevant for a good game. If all of these aspects are taken into account during your game and you can rely on them, all you need to do is turn an your “autopilot” for creating a perfect swing!
This course is especially designed for your personal needs. On the first training day our professionals will analyze your gameplay. In addition various strategies of how to improve different aspects of your skills, such as swing-techniques or short play, are being discussed. Within only three days we will concentrate on all aspects of your game and figure out practical solutions in order to improve your skills. Whether it is about optimizing your technique or improving your short game, you should trust and enjoy your game in order to gain new confidence and enthusiasm for playing on the course. You will discover your strengths, which you can then build on and use when you are confronted with difficult game situations. We will set accomplishable goals, taking your physical strength, your equipment and the number of your training sessions into account, so that you can cherish your best possible game. During summer teenagers from 10 – 16 years can participate in our Junior Camp, where lots of fun, action and game play are waiting for them. Every Monday through Thursday from 11 am – 4 pm, and Friday from 10 am – 1 pm you have to refrain from your kids, because this is when they are experiencing golf. Whether they are beginners or more experienced golfers, every single one of them will find the right place within the group. In order to guarantee the best possible training for our tennis fans, we have outsourced this section and conferred the support and handling of all tennis activities to KNIF sports. KNIF is a sports label from Graz (Styria), which accompanies athletes to their personal best. Apart from working with professionals from many different types of sport, KNIF pros offer coaching in tennis for all ages at our resort. KNIF’s philosophy
We love what we do, because we have the opportunity to support athletes on their way to their personal best. While doing so, we live our couching philosophy to our fullest and are looking for the best equipment suitable especially for you - because only your personal success counts. Sports like you do. Reiters Riding Academy
The REITERS RESERVE SÜDBURGENLAND is the perfect location for riders and horse lovers. Owner Karl Reiter is an enthusiastic landlord and farmer. One of his great passions is horse breeding. You can not only find many different breeds of horses, but also Austria’s biggest private Lipizzan stud at the RESERVE. Apart from breeding, the sport itself also plays an important role. We offer an indoor riding area, as well as outdoor riding facilities. Furthermore you can find various riding and biking tracks around the RESERVE, which are connected to the main horse tracks of the Burgenland.
Qualified experts are awaiting you at the riding academy, supporting and helping you with your training. We offer group lessons, as well as private training for adults and children.
School horses and horses for hire are waiting for you. You can also bring your own horse for a ride out around the RESERVE. Stables can also be used. Last but not least you can also enjoy a beautiful horse carriage ride and even take courses on how to ride a carriage yourself.
