Interviewer: I am Kimberly Moses, the founder of Rejoice Essential Magazine, and I want to thank you so much, woman of God, for accepting the invite. My sister-in-law told me about you. She said, “You need to get her,” and I began to research you. I was blown away. As I was reading your testimony, I was like, “Wow!” We have so much in common. I loved your realness and transparency. You are very authentic, and I feel like that is a great way to reach people. We have been doing this magazine for about six years, and I am just really excited. Thank you again for the opportunity and for you saying yes to the invite.

Bevelyn Beatty: Amen. Thank you for having me. I appreciate it.

Interviewer: What is so amazing [about your testimony is] I had a similar encounter. I met Jesus in jail. I’ve gone to jail a few times, but that last time is when I had that encounter with Jesus. That’s when I got my life on the right track. I want to talk about that breaking point in your life. When did you accept Jesus in your heart?

Bevelyn Beatty: Well, the thing is, I was suffering from depression even before I got arrested. When I was arrested, I felt low in a sense, but I didn’t really know a way out. I met a woman there that was prophetic. She told me about a night that I had in the bathroom. She said that I had been crying out to the Lord for help because I really felt like I was cornered and didn’t know which way to go, as far as my life. I felt alone. I felt like I did everything that I could do on this earth, and it was like I still felt alone. You know what I mean? While I was in jail, this lady told me about a night when I was coming from the bar. I just went into the bathroom and turned on the water so my roommate couldn’t hear me, and I just cried. When she told me about that night, I thought, “Wow! This woman is speaking from God. This is prophetic.” She basically told me that you have to give your life to Christ and that I was headed toward death. She told me that if I didn’t give my life to the Lord, death would be the result. She wanted me to know that God had so much for me. In a sense, she spoke into my life, but really, it was an ultimatum to give my life to Christ because there was nothing left for me. I repented of my sins, and that day, I walked away and said, “Lord, I am going to serve you with everything that I have. I don’t really know how to do right because I have only done wrong most of my life, but I am going to try to obey you as best as I can.” That was what really shifted my life.

Interviewer: Amen. I love that. What inspired your name ministry’s name: At the Well?

Bevelyn Beatty: A year later, I met my best friend Edna. We started going out and ministering on the streets. We both could relate to the Samaritan woman at the well. She was a woman who suffered from depression. She had a lot of different challenges and sin going on in her life, such as different men. Then she had an encounter with Jesus, and

“When I was arrested, I felt low in a sense, but I didn’t really know a way out. I met a woman there that was prophetic. She told me about a night that I had in the bathroom. when she had that encounter with Him, it was a real encounter. She was the first evangelist to go out. Because of her, they turned her whole city around, and they all believed in Jesus. She wouldn’t keep that encounter to herself. She was like, “No, you got to come and see this man that has told me everything that I have ever known and everything about my life. He is the true Messiah.” So we felt like we are similar to that woman because we had an encounter, and He has changed our lives. We have to share it, you know?

Interviewer: Absolutely. What advice would you tell someone that is trying to get over depression? I suffered from depression, and I was suicidal as well. What advice would you give someone?

Bevelyn Beatty: You know that this is my personal experience before knowing that I could lay my concerns and issues before the Lord. I understood that I could pray, but I never understood how I could come transparently before the Lord about everything. I was the type where I put up a smile, but inside, I dealt with so much turmoil and defeat. The one thing that I will say is the best thing for a depressed person to do or a person suffering from trauma is to come to the throne boldly and just tell the Lord how you feel. Cry out to the Lord and tell Him that you are upset. If you are mad at Him, tell Him that you are mad at Him. You could say something like, “Lord, why was I born, and why did I have to deal with this thing that I am going through in life? Why did I have to go through this?” and just lay everything before Him, and you will walk away leaving that weight at His altar. You will also get answers and peace, and that is how you will know that He is truly God. I am not the type that is going to send someone to a shrink. In a sense, we can get some counseling, but I am telling you that the best counselor is the Holy Spirit. Go before the Father, and He will mend you.

Interviewer: I know that you help a lot of women that are broken. What would you tell a woman regarding finding her purpose and calling in her life? I know when I was young, I was out there sleeping around. How do you minister to a woman like that?

Bevelyn Beatty: Well, first and foremost, she has to know that she is a wife, and she has to know that she has purpose. She has to first know that she is the wife of Christ. She has to first know what a wife is, and then you got to know that you are the wife of the living God. You are called to serve Him and honor Him. That is your purpose, and that is the foundation of knowing your purpose. You were made in His image and likeness, and you are His helpmate. You are on this earth to do His will. I feel that once a person realizes the bigger scheme of things, it will help them. “Jesus wants me to help Him further His kingdom and agenda. I have a

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE JUNE 2021

part to play in that, and the journey before He comes back and brings New Jerusalem.” First and foremost, once you understand what a wife is and understand that you are a Wife of Christ, I believe that change will begin. Once I realized, “Wait a minute, He loved me more than I ever loved Him. He has been loyal to me. He has never left me or forsaken me, and all He is looking for is me to be loyal back to Him, to believe in Him, and to trust in Him.” That is it.

All of this other stuff that has happened in my life happened, but it wasn’t something that I looked for, nor was it something that I sought after, but I did need to look for my purpose in being His wife. [I needed to know] how to honor and serve Him. I feel like once a woman understands that, you wouldn’t want to give your body to every man out here, not once you realize who you’re truly married to. You will know your worth and value in Him and what He means to you. You do it because you will feel like something to somebody. So when you find out that you are something to somebody, you are a wife to somebody, and somebody loves you, it changes the game.

Interviewer: Absolutely. Amen! I know that you have had a lot of supernatural encounters or some mindblowing testimonies. Could you share one of them with us?

Bevelyn Beatty: Well, actually the biggest one that I will tell you about is the one before I got saved. The Lord preserve. I was 15 years old, and I had met this older guy from Atlanta. He obviously liked young girls, but they were way younger than I thought. He was some big-time drug dealer, and he pulled up in a Range Rover. He wanted to take me on a trip to Virginia Beach. So, me being grown and fresh, I am like, “Okay. I am going to go to Virginia Beach with him and have a good time with that wax top.” By this time, my mom and I had gotten into it, and she kicked me out of the house. I was living with my friend, and she and I weren’t speaking.

I was planning on going on this trip with this guy, but I am a little disturbed in my spirit for some reason. I was praying and saying, “God, should I go or not go?” Not realizing that according to His Word and His Will, I should have known better. I didn’t because I was young and hardheaded. One day he calls me and tells me, “Hey, I got another guy, my homeboy. He is going to come to this, that, and the other.” Now I am really uncomfortable because he is going to have another guy come with us. It was already troubling because I was living in North Carolina at the time and going all the way to Virginia with him. On top of that, he is bringing another guy. I wasn’t feeling it, so the day before I was about to go, I think the same day, that morning, I prayed and I said, “God, if it is not meant for me to go, stop me from going.” You know I have always had a reverence for Christ even though I didn’t serve Him truly and I didn’t make Him Lord of my life. I never did not believe in Him.

That morning I get up and my mom calls me, and she tells me, “Bev, I had a dream. In that dream, you were in a car with two men. You got into a car accident, and you died,” My mom didn’t know that I was planning on traveling to Virginia Beach with those two guys, so I didn’t go. I thank God that I am still here and it could have been an accident and it could have been even worse than that. I could have been kidnapped or anything else. His hand worked powerfully in my life. Even when I was in sin and ignorant, He was with me and never left me. He never forsook me.

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE JUNE 2021

Interviewer: Yes!! That is powerful, and I just thank God for the warning. My God. I saw on the news that you got stabbed. I was like, “Oh my gosh. That is crazy.” I am happy that you are okay. Can you tell me about that?

Bevelyn Beatty: No, that is okay. The crazy part is that every time I go out, I have great discernment, and I know when the Lord wants me to go somewhere and when He doesn’t, trust me. I hear from the Holy Spirit, and I obey Him. That night was not the case. I didn’t even feel uncomfortable

“The Lord preserve. I was 15 years old, and I had met this older guy from Atlanta. He obviously liked young girls, but they were way younger than I thought. He was some big-time drug dealer, and he pulled up in a Range Rover.

about being out that night. I knew that Black Lives Matters was in front of the White House, but I didn’t feel in danger at all. I was just chilling. We were at Harry’s, which is like a conservative pub, eating and watching the election. The election had gone on a little later than it normally does because, again, they were trying to steal it, so we left the pub and started walking down the block. Now mind you, Trump Towers are right on the next block, so they had the whole area where we were blocked off. No cars could get in. Secret service had that whole area for at least ten blocks blocked off so that you couldn’t get in. It was pretty much safe, and we were in the downtown area where usually it is pretty safe. My friends and I were walking around, and we found a stoop. We sat down because Trump was about to make an announcement.

While we were waiting to hear what he was about to say, I see this older white man who appeared to be like 65 or 70 years old walking down the street by himself. I think he was looking at his phone and not paying attention. There were three kids behind him. They happened to be black, and they came from the Black Lives Matter rally. They were following him. At first, everybody is looking and on alert like, “What is going on?” They kind of walked past him, and we felt relieved for a second. Then they turned around and were facing him. He walked right into them abruptly because he wasn’t paying attention. When that happened, we realized that they were going to attack this man. For me, I don’t care how black I am supposed to be. I am still a Christian first, and at the end of the day, I was raised in the old school. You don’t sit around and watch your elder get beat up by some kids. I don’t know where they do that at!! I don’t know when that became okay and normal, but that is not around me, you know what I am saying? I walked over there, and I told those kids that they need to leave that man alone and go about their business.

They cursed us out and told us to mind our (explicit) business. One girl told me that if I didn’t shut up, she was going to punch me in my face. At that point, I didn’t care about none of that. I told her, “You need to leave this man alone!” She hit me in my face and grab my hair. I had my hair out in a curly hairstyle. She pulled my hair down, and I tried to get her hands out of my hair because it was

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE JUNE 2021

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE JUNE 2021

totally unexpected for me because I am non-violent. As she is pulling my hair, her other friend takes out a Hennessy bottle. These people had empty bottles and knives in their bags. She took the bottle threw it [at me], but it missed me. Someone stabbed me in my back three times. Four of us got stabbed that night. I think that all of them had knives. My lungs and liver were punctured. As soon as I got stabbed, I laid my hands on my wounds and felt the blood rushing out of my back. I laid my hands on my wounds, and I started to pray for the bleeding to stop. I knew to stay still so that I wouldn’t bleed out. If you get stabbed, you never want to move too much because you will bleed out. You just stay still. So I just laid my hands over my back, and I started to pray. A car pulled up, and I get into the car. Someone got in the back seats saying, “I was stabbed in the neck.”

Prior to that, when I was walking toward the stoop, I talked to this young man from Virginia who wasn’t a Christian. He said Christianity was too religious. An Indian guy who was also a Christian and delivered from Hinduism and I were ministering to him about what it means to have a relationship with Christ. I thought it was the young man who got into the back saying he was stabbed in the neck. The Indian guy and I were sowing seeds into this guy now. On our way to the hospital, I was asking him, “Do you know Jesus?” He said, “Yes, I know Jesus,” and I said, “No, no. You don’t know Jesus. You need to repent of your sins now. You need to accept Him as your Lord and Savior.” I was pressing him to repent and accept Christ because I thought he would die because he was saying that he was stabbed in the neck. When we got to the hospital, I found out it was the Indian guy. I said, “No wonder he kept telling me in the car that he knew Jesus,” but I was in panic mode because I was thinking that we were going to die. I was like, “No, you need to accept Him now,” you know what I mean? I was not taking no for an answer.

Finally, we get out of the car, and I realize it is the Indian guy. I felt so relieved. I was like, “Okay, you know Christ, so if you die, at least you are going to heaven.” (laughs) We went to the emergency room and by that time, I had laid flat on my back. The bleeding just ceased. It was so amazing and so supernatural. My liver healed the next day supernaturally. I just had to recover from a punctured lung. They also told me I was COVID positive. I had to get oxygen treatments. That’s what made me weak, not the COVID. That wasn’t really fun, but I made it out alive. That is what happened.

“They cursed us out and told us to mind our (explicit) business. One girl told me that if I didn’t shut up, she was going to punch me in my face. At that point, I didn’t care about none of that. I told her, “You need to leave this man alone!”

Interviewer: Wow! That is so powerful! I love that you were still doing what you were called to do even when wounded. Did they find out who stabbed you?

Bevelyn Beatty: It is D.C. People get stabbed all day in D.C. They don’t even look for them or that type of stuff. D.C. is really bad.

Interviewer: Wow!! I had no idea. Oh my Gosh! But that

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE JUNE 2021

is a powerful testimony. How did you get involved in activism in the community?

Bevelyn Beatty: Well, it really started with me going in front of the abortion clinic. We would go here and there when we would do ministry. We would go out to the abortion clinic, help the homeless, and things like that. When Governor Cuomo legalized abortion for full-term babies, that is when it got real for us. For me, it is like they are celebrating killing babies at nine months [in the womb]. Whether [the mother] is three months or nine, you celebrate killing a [baby that’s been carried for] nine months like this whole concept of the fetus is totally dead. For me, after that, I said, “We are getting out of here. We are going to give the enemy heaven, and we cannot let them continually go by idly thinking that they are going to just peacefully go in and murder babies.

We would go out there and terrorize that clinic. I am not a Kumbaya Christian like you need to be peacefully loved on when you are going to murder your baby. Regardless of the circumstances, you need to know that is a sin, and I am not going to tell you that you are going to hell. I am not going to curse you or anything, but I am going to beg you and, say “Momma, please, you don’t have to do this. You don’t have to kill your baby.”

I am not going to tell you what you want to hear. I am going to tell you the truth. This is coming from someone who had three abortions. I wish somebody was out there standing the way that I was, so I would at least know the truth before I went in there. They didn’t like that, and then COVID happened. They started to arrest us, and our rights were being stripped away. We realized that we just had to go harder. Christ is with us. We knew that He would co-sign with us. We knew that this was of Him, and He was smiling. That is where that heart comes from: knowing that Christians need to get louder when the enemy gets loud, and they need to speak what thus saith the Lord. They need to rebuke. It doesn’t mean that you are condemning everybody to hell, but guess what? If you don’t surrender to Christ, that is where you are headed. You may go in there trying to kill your baby and die on that table. What would be your redemption then? It sets your life up in the pit of hell. Just seeing how much the enemy will be using us with these lies to take lives and getting away with murder. We were just like, “No, we ain’t going to do that. We are going to stand for Christ even if it costs us our freedom.”

Interviewer: Jesus!! Wow! Has anyone ever come to get an abortion, but they heard you and your message and changed their minds? Has that ever happened?

Bevelyn Beatty: Absolutely! We are getting sued by the New York State Attorney General because of our time protesting in front of a clinic in New York.

Interviewer: Ahh! Oh my Gosh!

Bevelyn Beatty: They don’t want us. They are not suing us for money. They are suing us because they don’t want us in front of the clinic. That is how effective we are. Just being there with the presence of the Holy Spirit alone was enough. People would pull up, see us out there, and just pulled off. They weren’t getting any service as long as we were standing there because the Holy Spirit was there. The presence was there, and the fire was there. We were at the gates of hell, and we were violently going in, violently speaking the truth, and violently declaring the name of the Lord. We had no embarrassment and no

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE JUNE 2021

fear of man. We were totally unapologetic about being a Christian and serving the Lord. For us, it was more than seeing women change their minds.

One time a Jamaican woman was walking. She was the prettiest woman that I have ever seen. She had blue eyes and was light brown, but she still looked African. Beautiful. She walked in, and the police came over and tried to get me to go across the street. I told them that I wasn’t going across the street because it is my right to be on the sidewalk because it was a public sidewalk. I told them, “I am going to stand right here in front of the door. These women are going to know before they go in there that this is not of God.”

Mind you, the woman said that she heard me up the block. She walked in, walked over, and she called me over. She said, “Can I talk to you?” I said, “Yes.” She said, “Miss, I heard you up the block, and I know what I am doing is wrong. I go to church, I am a Christian, and I am not supposed to be here.” She started breaking down crying. We went to a café, and we were sitting down talking with her. She tells me how she knows that her Bishop will help. She ended up in this relationship with this guy and sinned. She just wanted to go to the clinic to clean it up. But she said, “I asked God for a sign before I got to the clinic, and I heard you down the block. I knew I couldn’t do this.”

Interviewer: Thank you, God! Wow! That gives me chills!! Amen! Wow! That is just powerful!! My God!! You just talked about the truth because you wished somebody was doing what you were doing. What is the truth when you got your abortions? What do you want these women to know about abortion?

Bevelyn Beatty: First and foremost, the Lord said that He knitted us and formed us fearfully in our mother’s womb, and He already had a destiny for us before the foundations of this earth. No matter how a baby was conceived, it is made in God’s image and likeness and has a purpose. We don’t give life, so what right do we have to take it. The innocent blood that we are shedding is crying out, and God said He hates the hands that shed innocent blood. It is of the devil. Back in the days of ancient times, they called it child sacrifice. He said, “It is detestable to me for you to sacrifice your children to the detest-

able god of the Ammonites, Molech.” This is something that has been done since the beginning of time, and it is Satan’s way of sticking up his finger to God—basically saying, “I am going to kill Your image and kill your babies.” Regardless of our circumstances, we are basically laying our babies on the altar of convenience rather than trusting in the Lord. The last time I checked, He called that a faithless perverse generation and it is not of God. He is a provider, Jehovah Jireh. He is there for you, and you can depend on Him. He is not just some old whitebearded man in the sky, and no white Jesus just for white people. He is actually Middle Eastern, if you want to be technical, but regardless of all of that, He is Lord of Lords, King of Kings, at the right hand of the Father, High Priest of the order of Melchizedek. At the end of the day, He is the Word, the Truth, and the Light. He said shedding innocent blood is detestable to Him. It is of the devil, and they need to know that before they walk in there.

Interviewer: Amen!! I know that you have been censored and arrested. How do you overcome that? The enemy is trying to actively shut you down on what you are called to do? Bevlyn Beatty: All I can do is keep going. Before I had a platform on social media, we were out here in the streets discipling. You know that the biggest portion of my ministry is discipleship. We have so many relationships with people—mostly young women. I am getting married, so hopefully, that will open up the door for men and husbands. My husband can deal with the men. But for the most part, the kingdom is still advancing. I mean Jesus only had 12 disciples, and look what happened. Even if we can’t get our information out for the masses, we can disciple. And from there, build them up so they can go out and build others up. Regardless of what is happening, the kingdom is still being advanced, and nothing can stop that, not even death.

Interviewer: That is right! Tell us about the Jesus Matter movement?

Bevlyn Beatty: Jesus Matter came directly as a counter against Black Lives Matter. A lot of black Christians promote Black Lives Matter. When you talk to them about Jesus Matter, it’s like they would have some type of excuse as to why that is not true and that there is still racism and all that stuff like that. I said, “Hmm, if you say that you are a Christian, I am going to say Jesus Matters, and if you try to come against it, then it tells me your heart and who you really are. For me, it shows me the Antichrist agenda. That is when I started just promoting Jesus Matters, Jesus Matters, because Jesus matters. That’s where it was birthed from. I wanted to utilize the name of Jesus to expose people’s hearts.

Interviewer: I know you faced hate and attacks because you painted over the BLM things and things like that.

“They didn’t like that, and then COVID happened. They started to arrest us, and our rights were being stripped away. We realized that we just had to go harder. Christ is with us. We knew that He would co-sign with us. We knew that this was of Him, and He was smiling.

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE JUNE 2021

Bevelyn Beatty: Yes, yes.

Interviewer: The faith and the power of God flowing through you. I love your boldness. I love what you stand for. I applaud you for what you are doing in the community. Let’s talk about hearing God’s voice. I know you have great discernment, and you hear and feel God. I know that you believe in the prophetic ministry. Tell us a little about it. How do you know when it’s God’s voice versus your thoughts because many people get confused with that a lot?

Bevelyn Beatty: This is a good question too. First and foremost, you have to know the Word of God. The Bible says to study to show yourself approved. God’s Word is absolute, and He is never going to tell you to do something or have you speak anything that compromises or contradicts the Word of God. Right!! So, the foundation is His Word. God will repeat His Word to you. God will show you His Word before your very eyes. The Bible is a powerful book regardless of whether people like it or not because it is the living Word. There is only one book in this world that you can read, and the words from it manifest in your very life, your very walk, and in everybody else’s life. You can see it happening. You can read Romans 1. That is happening right now as we speak. No other book can do that.

Secondly [is having] Holy Spirit [as part of your life]. I hate to say it, but you are only dealing with half a deck if you are not baptized with the Holy Spirit. He is the counselor. He is the empire of your life. He is the one that speaks to you. He guides you, and comforts you. That is the promise that Jesus sent, right? The Holy Spirit has played a huge part in understanding God’s Word and knowing Him but at the same time knowing His voice. God is not someone that will bring doubt and fear into you because He said that He didn’t bring the spirit of fear, but power, love, and a sound mind, so is ever you hear doubt and you hear fear, you know that is not of the Lord.

The Lord’s no is no and His yes is yes. We know that because in the Word, Paul said, “My no is no and my yes is yes.” God is not going to be fluffy when He tells you no. He will blatantly tell you no. Because they don’t want to hear no, what humans want to do is say, “Oh, God, did you really say that?” They try to get an answer again like they haven’t gotten one. They try to put a fleece down and say, “If I wake up tomorrow and it is not wet…” They try to do more, when the reality is God is simply going to tell you No or Yes. I will tell you another thing, too: when the Lord wants you to do something, you’ll submit to His will, but if He doesn’t want you to do it, then He will close the door. You have to be humble enough to let that door stay closed. If He wants you to do it, He is going to open up the floodgates, and He is going to back you. If you ever have a vision that you say is from God but don’t have the money to make it a reality, that vision is not from God. God is going to pay for it if He wants it done. So knowing who He is how you know His voice, but that is a journey that you take through faith and trusting God. It starts small.

I grew up a hustler. I was arrested several times because everything I ever had, I either worked for it or took it. Nobody gave me anything in life. When I finally surrendered my life to God, I was like, “God, I got to trust You, so You got to show me that You are real, man. I am going to work a regular 9-to-5, and I am going to be obedient, but Lord, how are You going to feed me because I don’t have

mom and dad to call on. I am on my own out here, so it is either You or nothing.” I had to trust Him with my bills. You know what He did? He told me, “When you obey my Word, this is what I am going to do for you.” He showed me how His hand was on my life. Now, I know His pattern, and I know His voice based on His Word and actions. Anything that contradicts the Word of God, but you think God is telling you, that’s not God.

Interviewer: Wow! Amen! I just love your realness! I went through so many financial challenges, and God always showed Himself so strongly. Can you share with us how God came through for you financially when you were believing in and depending on God?

Bevelyn Beatty: If it wasn’t for God, I wouldn’t eat, and that is the truth.

Interviewer: Yeah!!

Bevelyn Beatty: If it wasn’t for the Father, there would be no food on my plate. Now I am at a place where I am not worried about what man says. Man can censor me or stop me, but they can’t stop anything. I am going to eat regardless because my God feeds me. In the first round, I was like, “Dang, God, I am struggling, and all I have is You. But now, this round, all I got is You. God, all these other options may be available, but I know what I got. I know who rides with me to the end.”

Interviewer: Amen. I know you say that the Holy Spirit lets you know. If you don’t feel the peace about something, you would know or pray about it. How important is discernment?

Bevelyn Beatty: Oh my God, discernment is like a path. The thing about it is that Jesus walked this earth. People will never know this because the preachers will never teach that. I believe that if you read the gospel, you will realize that Jesus is very street smart. Jesus could see right through you, and you couldn’t catch one up on Jesus. You couldn’t be bad and couldn’t catch one up on Jesus. Am I lying?

Interviewer: No, you are telling the truth!!

Bevelyn Beatty: I am telling the truth!! This is the thing: not only was He God in the flesh, but He had that Supernatural discernment to see through people because He had the Spirit of God upon His life. Discernment is a simple prayer. He said if your child asks for bread, what Father will give them a rock? So how much more will He gladly give you if you ask for wisdom. In the same way, the Father will give you discernment. He wants you to know your Judas’s. Jesus knew who His Judas was, and He utilized His Judas to further the kingdom in a greater way. If Satan had known what was really happening, he would have never killed Jesus. He would have never done it. Right! In the same way, we are called to pray for discernment constantly. We are also called to pray and pay attention. Jesus said to be shrewd. I

came from the streets, so it is easier for me to be street smart. It is easier for me to ask the Lord to give me that wisdom. But you have some that come from church, but guess what?

They still don’t have a sense of discernment through whatever experience that they have. Now they need to ask the Holy Spirit to guide and empower it. They need to ask Him to give them the wisdom to see through certain things. It will keep people from bumping their heads, and God forbid that we miss it. God has already got us protected ahead of time, but He still doesn’t want us to be ignorant or stupid as His children out here. What parent wants their child to be out here dingy? What parent doesn’t want their child to be smart, witty, paying attention, knowing what is up, and knowing what time it is? God is the same way. He wants us to be shrewd, witty, knowing what time it is, knowing what is up, and being and knowing what for what. That is important. But again, it is as simple as asking the Father for it, and He will give it to you. The dumbest can have some discernment if they ask Him for it. Ask the Lord for it.

Interviewer: Amen! And do you have any encouraging words for our readers?

Bevelyn Beatty: I simply say this: I encourage, and I employ you to die to yourself and become a living sacrifice for Christ. It will be the best decision that you could ever make in your life. I will tell you that God is my witness. Jesus is the best thing that ever happened to me. The best. No man could have ever loved me the way Christ loves me. Nothing and no one could ever fill me the way He fills me. No one gives me peace of heart the way Christ. He gives me peace of heart eternally. His yoke is easy, and His burdens are light. Regardless of all the challenges that I have faced, I can stand here before you and attest and say that God is good. He is Good. It is true. I encourage all of you to surrender to Christ. Let go of your selfish ways. Let go of your own thoughts and ideas that you think that life should be for you. Lay all your ideas on the altar and let Him take you apart. Let Him do His will, let His kingdom come, and let his will be done in your life because it is written in heaven already. Let it manifest itself here on this earth. You will be thankful, and it will be the best decision that you have ever made.

Interviewer: Amen! So, do you have any events or any products that we can get to support you? What are you doing?

Bevelyn Beatty: Right now, we have Iron Sharpens Iron. All events will be on my website at www.atthewellministries.org. People can just go to our website at atthewellministries. org and they can see any update of anything that we will have going on.

Interviewer: Great!! That is the end of the interview, and I appreciate you Woman of God. I love what you are doing, and keep up the great work.
