As a human, I am drawn to the elegance of nature â&#x20AC;&#x201C; As an artist, my focus is to create a visual connection with nature that inspires contemplation, and perhaps restoration. Paper, Plant, Sun

is a collection of botanical portraits created by using those three elements. Plants are photographed gently interacting with textured Japanese paper in the natural sunlight. The result is an abstraction influenced by the intensity of the sun, the surface of the paper, the shape of a leaf, or the delicate transparency of a petal.
