The cow chooses you indeed. That is how Divya & Gautam started the mission - based on a divine calling - that goes far beyond monetary gains. A mission focused on looking after and caring for the Indian cows. And that's why they started Klimom Wellness & Farms. Their vision: to grow the Goushala to 1000 cows and more and ensuring they get back the glory to the cows.
At Klimom Wellness and Farms, the day starts with Aarti and Pooja. The cows are anointed with turmeric and they wake to the sound of soft music. Klimom Milk - It has therapeutic properties and is known to cure many kinds of human diseases. Yet, Klimom IT'S NOT MILK alone. The blue teat story. 25% of the milk is for the rightful owner - the calf.
In its natural habitat, a calf nurses for up to 8 months and thus receives the nutrients and develops its immunities. At Klimom, we ensure that the young calf is never denied its share of milk and that is why in our identity design, one of the teat is in blue the milk reserved for the calf. Klimom is a combination of two words. We wanted to reverse the cruelty and stress associated with milk. Thus when you reverse M-I-L-K, it becomes K-L-I-M. Om is the divine, sacred word. Klimom's mission is to get back to an India where cows are revered and nurtured.

Researchers found that each cow's milk yield rose by 0.57 to 0.73 litres when slow, folk music was played instead of fast music. Thus proving that calming music reduces stress in humans as well as animals. Faster songs seemed to trouble the animals and reducing their milk yield. When cows are contented and stress-free, the milk they produce is also highly therapeutic.

Twice a day, the Klimom cows are given 8-10 kgs of Bhoosa wheat straw and whole maize. They are also given an unlimited fare of fresh organic green grass and fodder through grazing in the ďŹ elds. We have acres of organic green grass grown along with special nutritious herbs. Once a week, we feed them Rotis and Bananas. We have a huge organic banana plantation for them. With such balanced diet and plenty of exercise, the cows deliver milk which is pure and healthy.
A healthy balanced diet for the cows While milking, twice a day, the cows are fed 5 Kgs of Daana - A ration of Cotton Cake, Chunni of Turdal & Channa Dal, Jagerry and Coconut Cake.

It costs us a fortune to ensure that 75% of our cows are looked after as well as the 25% of the milking cows. Our acres of organic grasslands and banana plantations for cows are heavy on investments. The nutritious food we give the cows cost us 4 times of what others spend. The cowherds from Gujarat are paid well, and are given a home and perks. We use no mechanical pumps for the milk. The bulls mate with the cows and deliver natural offsprings. Everything is natural. It costs us a lot to deliver milk within hours, farm fresh in glass bottles to you. Yet, what you pay us is just a fraction of our actual cost. Our mission is not proďŹ t-based. We are happy that our customers believe that what they pay is not just for milk. Thus, our customers are helping us with the mission of providing the cows the best. And in turn, are getting to enjoy milk, ghee and cow products that are fully natural, stress-free, full of health and...divine grace.
