Contact: +6282282277762 reliyaannisa@gmail.com Hi, I’m Reliya currently a final year student of Architecture in Bandung Institute of Technology. As a student I developed interests in the place-making aspect of architecture. I seek spatial form and details that could bring experence. I also tend to focus more on how the interaction of the future user and event will be held in the space. Shades Pavillion Temporary structure serve as a multi-event supporting facility in a park. Using tectonical design approach, shades pavillion utilize elastic and tensile strenght of a hollow steel and membrane as the main structure. Curvilinear form and choice of material made this pavilion blend well with the park enhancing interaction between the user inside and outside the pavilion. Its not a ‘structure’ built in the park but a ‘shades’. Architectural Design Studio I (2016). “Forms and Tectonics”

CONCEPT.
Building design consists of 2 main mass as the exhibition rooms. Between the two mass is a transational area in form of void and a bridge. This void allows stack effect and undirect sunlight applied on the building. The void also enhance the interaction between users and events held in other separated rooms. Solid-void articulation formed by wood utilize as a shading device for exhibition rooms to controls the micro climate. As a facade it gives an opportunity to peek inside without execively exposing. The woods plays a role in building the ambience of transitional area. It encourage people to take a rest between the exhibition rooms with arts, people, and sky as the background.
