amongst trees near the Andrew Yandell Reserve, is Greenhills Neighbourhood House. A place where you can connect with community, meet like-minded people, access support, well-being classes, family focused events and occasional childcare. It’s the perfect place to share or learn a skill and connect with local community.

In our occasional childcare, your child is gently introduced to socialization, following instructions, and learning fine motor skills. We also run a free weekly play group with an emphasis on outdoor play and host family fun days where you can meet other families and enjoy some messy play with your kids.

Each month we host free community lunches or dinners. These are low key social get togethers where you can bring a plate to share, come along with friends, family or simply yourself. Community lunches are always a great opportunity to see the centre’s inclusive spaces and see what activities and events are coming up.

Each week there are various wellbeing classes you can join, including, yoga, pilates, tai chi and gentle dance groups. These are warm environments facilitated by experienced and friendly community tutors.

Not only do we provide you with a community space to play, learn and belong but we can also help you when you need somewhere for support as well. Every week in our Greenroom, we support the community with fresh food relief services, material aid and sustainable swap events. You can spot the Greenroom by the little libraries and swap racks of clothing, books, plants and the community veggie beds out the front.

There are so many ways to get involved. Drop by for a chat or follow us on Facebook and Instagram to be kept in the loop for all our upcoming events.
