We have partnered with Home Mortgage Advisors for two new in-house buyer solutions: Cash Buy and Modern Bridge. These “Alliance Offers powered by zavvie”, are just a small part of the “Alliance Solutions powered by zavvie,” our in-house program for all available buying and selling options in this market.
Clients can become a cash buyer and get under contract more quickly with the Cash Buy program. The client gets pre-approved and pre-funded by Home Mortgage Advisors and can write cash offers for a property in 7 business days. The Cash Buy program will close on the client’s new home so that they can move in and lease it back while their lender works to issue the new home loan. The client will then close on their mortgage with HMA and purchase their new home from the Cash Buy program at the original price. Their lease ends the moment they purchase the new home. The Modern Bridge program helps the client secure their next home before having to move out of their current home. The Modern Bridge can either help purchase a new home or buy the old home. Either way, the client gets full market value for their current home, maximizing net proceeds for purchasing power on the new home.

Children’s Miracle Network
RE/MAX Associates generated more than $8 million in donations last year alone. Honor Card Program
By making a $30 donation to Children’s Miracle Network in honor of a client, you give desperately ill children hope for the future. The gift recipient will receive a CMN-RE/MAX card that explains where the gift came from and what it means. Once a month you will receive a letter from the CMN office listing the names of the clients who received an Honor Card. This special gift makes a unique and lasting impression. Miracle Home Program
The Miracle Home program enables RE/MAX Affiliates to participate in a worthy cause and have positive impact on their individual business. Agents simply pledge to make a contribution for every real estate transaction.
With the Miracle Home Program, the amount you contribute per transaction is up to you, however there is a $10 minimum.
How to sign up - it’s easy! Fill out the CMN Pledge form (available from your office administrator) and THAT’S IT! You’re done! Your office will then coordinate with the folks at CMN for your donations. As an agent, you simply need to decide which program you would like to support, and how much money you would like to donate per transaction. Once you’ve signed up the program literally runs itself!

RE/MAX Alliance offers a full-service Relocation Department to assist everyone from individuals and affinity programs to corporations and their relocating employees. We provide clients with a wealth of information before their move to Colorado, along with a support system that enables them to quickly settle into their new home and community after their arrival.
Our memberships with the Employee Relocation Council and Rocky Mountain Relocation Council enable us to receive the training and certifications needed to acquire Third Party Relocation Referrals.
There may be a time in your career that you will encounter a client that is an employee with a corporation that is offering Relocation Benefits through a Third Party Relocation Company. This is where our Relocation Department can be an asset to your business. Because we maintain good relationships with the Third Party Relocation Companies, you would be able to have that customer request to use you as their Broker. When this occurs, please contact our department to “Register” the customer so we know when the referral comes in that this is a client request. Of course with all referrals you will need to pay referral fees to the Third Party Company and a Service Fee to RE/MAX Alliance.

The Bills are too high!
This myth has been passed around the industry for years. RE/MAX is based on a maximum commission concept. Agents share expenses and keep the maximum amount of their commissions. This is customary for independent contractors in other industries. Under this arrangement, agents will always pay less of a business expense on an annualized basis. They look at the short term. They focus on when they pay, rather than how much.
If you choose a brokerage using a traditional split system, you generally will pay more annually. The difference is that under traditional split arrangements the financial risk is shifted to the company and they must average a higher average return per agent than in a maximum commission company. In this business model, lower producing agents or new agents are subsidized by higher producing agents.
All professional real estate companies have overhead to meet, and they know what they need to collect from their agents to meet it and make a profit. This is why in a traditional split scenario, as long as you are closing about ten sides a year or more, you will always pay more. Always! Our unprecedented growth and success with experienced agents is testimony to this.
Does RE/MAX hire new agents and do they have training?
“RE/MAX only hires existing agents and not new”. In the beginning, 50 years ago, this was true. This was one of the organizing principles.
RE/MAX only hired “all stars.” Hard working agents realized they were paying too much back to their broker when they worked on a percentage basis and discovered the benefits of working with other top agents at RE/MAX. By raising the hiring standards above the industry and demonstrating a system that helped agents achieve greater levels of success, RE/MAX avoided high turnover and a bad reputation for poor customer service.
Things are different now. Training is now a necessity. The real estate sales industry is attracting more second-career agents than ever before. Professionals whose previous employers have been downsized are looking for new career paths. The average agent is now about 55 years old. College graduates are choosing real estate as their primary career path, rather than a second job.
RE/MAX Alliance offers full training for newly licensed associates and a mentor program that includes one-on-one coaching, utilizing professionally produced audio, visual and printed materials. In addition, agents have access to RE/MAX University, with hours of 24/7 streaming educational content viewable online. RE/MAX Alliance provides many educational opportunities, some with CE credits on a monthly basis.
For the new agents, we offer a transitional commission structure. There is no high monthly bill or high office overhead to worry about. But we expect you to work toward a base of business compatible with a maximum commission system. We are seeking full-time real estate professionals.
