Sunderland Roller Rink 22 July - 4 September

Roll up, roll up – and have some fantastic fun in Sunderland this summer! The city’s first roller rink will take up residence at Keel Square from 22 July to 4 September, so why not get your skates on and bring all the family? The rink will be open daily from 11am to 8pm and there'll be tonnes of themed events to get involved in. If you weren’t old enough to remember the great roller discos of the 80s then here’s your chance to enjoy an unforgettable experience – and that’s just one of the many special activities that will be on offer. Sessions cost £10 for adults, £8 for five to 17-year-olds and £4 for the under fours – or you can splash out on a family ticket for just £28.

Each game is played out in a battlezone laser zone, with catwalks, mazes, swirling fog, music and lights. You score points when you zap your opponents but lose points when they zap you!
