On behalf of your Gulf South LGBT Chamber of Commerce, it is my pleasure to serve as a volunteer Board Member and President. I am especially thankful for our hardworking Board and Committee Members who tirelessly volunteer their time to provide programming that fosters our Mission of promoting an inclusive business environment. Without our amazing Members, Corporate, and Community partners and Board Volunteers, our Mission would not be achieved. Thank you!

Since our founding in 2013 as an affiliate chamber of the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC), your Gulf South LGBT Chamber continues to serve as an integral partner in helping to grow LGBTQ-Owned businesses through NGLCC’s LGBTOwned Business Enterprise (LGBTBE) certification process, which gives our certified LGBTBE Members access to our local and national corporate supplier diversity procurement programs. We also have local partnerships with business organizations and corporate partners who seek to do business with our certified business members and utilize our membership directory to identify Allied businesses who support the LGBTQ+ community. Additionally, we provide unique LGBTQ+ and Ally professional networking opportunities, access to professional development and mentorship programs that include workshops and webinars, serve as a connector for employment opportunities and support local community non-profit partners.

As we continue to expand and diversify our outreach along the Gulf Coast, our Members, Corporate and Community partners who share in this Vision are critical to our success.
