The Atlanta City Council voted to extend the deadline to June 1 for property owners who offer short-term and vacation rentals on Airbnb, VRBO, and other platforms to get a required permit.

Gov. Brian Kemp signed legislation in April allowing Georgians to carry concealed firearms without a permit.
