A man riding a Lime dockless e-scooter was struck and killed by an SUV as he was leaving the West Lake MARTA station on May 17 – the first such incident to happen in the city since the introduction of e-scooters. The driver of the SUV said she tried to avoid hitting the man but was unable to do so in time.
