The Atlanta Workforce Development Agency was awarded a $1.1 million grant by the U.S. Department of Labor to support YouthBuild, a job training and educational opportunities for at-risk youth ages 16 to 24.
The American Planning Association has named Midtown a 2016 Great Place. The organization cited the neighborhood’s planning initiatives, arts and culture and walkability.
The City of Atlanta is looking for a buyer to redevelop the historic home of the Atlanta Constitution newspaper, which has become a blighted eyesore in Downtown.
