JFP!Ofxt Arusha Church The IEC church in Arusha sends its greetings to all of us in the U.S. This church is located next to ChristHope Orphanage, and this is where the children attend. Bishop Eliudi frequently visits this church and continues to preach the message of salvation.

Urgent prayer request -- The wells in Sakila have dried up, at the Bible school as well as at the two sponsored schools in the village. Water is being brought from other sources, but that will not last indefinitely. Now the dry season has set in, but the best solution is for rain. Your prayers are valued for this situation. Pictured above (left) is the drilling rig used to provide wells in Tanzania. To the right is well driller Trusy Matheson and some of his crew. Each year Trusty goes over to drill for much needed water. This November he drilled again for IEC, but the 600 foot well did not produce.

The Farm Site

A possible solution to the water situation...the farm site, between the two large cities of Arusha and Moshi, has abundant water available. Bishop Eliudi is considering a plan to bring water from this site up the mountain to Sakila in order to mitigate the effects of consistent drought. Bishop Eliudi’s trip to the U.S. draws near, with his arrival in the State of Washington scheduled for December 9th. His travel for December also includes visits to Mariposa and San Diego, California. Graduation for the current IEC students takes place on the 7th. Please pray for these new Christian workers as they return to their cities and villages, prepared to share the Good News of our Lord Jesus. Tax receipts for 2013 will be sent out in January. If your address has changed this year, please be sure that the office has the correct information so that you receive your receipt in a timely fashion. All funds donated to the Bible school or to the orphanage will be receipted by IEO. New Hope International Hospital will receipt funds donated for medical purposes and the clinic in Sakila. 2013 concluded 30 years for the ministry in Sakila. Thanks to all of you who have made these 30 years possible. You have made a distinct difference. I.E.O.
