Most hikers can average about three miles an hour and will travel between 12 to 24 miles a day. The highest elevation of the trail can be found at Clingmans Dome on the Tennessee/ North Carolina Border. The lowest point on the trail snakes through Bear Mountain State Park in New York. Additionally, once at the top, riders can explore the likes of Mount
Washington State Park and the Sherman Adams Visitors Center. Off-slope, kids are delighted by many fun family activities, hosted costume character meals at the Resort’s Morse Mountain Grille, mini snowmobile rides, and again, much more.” Should you choose to venture offsite, there are several opportunities surrounding the resort as well.
