Rid your home of phantom energy by unplugging electronics and gadgets. Even when not in use, appliances like your TV, toaster and computer are on standby mode and still suck energy. To eliminate this waste, unplug your home electronics when they aren't in use. Embrace the cold Wash and rinse your clothes in cold water. Worried cold water won't be as effective as hot? Think again. Detergents like Tide Coldwater are specifically designed to work in cold water conditions and are just as effective at removing stains and odours.
