Demo 3 Dockside Location: Port of Cannes Infrastructure: Watch while the Oceanscience Z-Boat surveys the pier, providing a 3-D visualization through the use of Lidar. The Z-Boat is also outfitted with an MB2 multibeam sonar that will provide real-time sensing and visualization feedback to shore. The SeaBotix vLBV300 serves as a portable tripod to position the BV5000 on the seabed floor, replacing the need for a diver to position the tripod and reducing the time to create a full scan of the area. The SeaBotix vLBV300 is equipped with integrated Bowtech camera and lights, and BlueView BV5000 scanning sonar. Back on shore, PDS software creates a 3-D mapping useful for scour monitoring and structural integrity measurements. Instructors: Mario De la Cruz, Joe Borden and Vitad Pradith
