The base frame of the armchair and the ottoman is a shell constructed of rigid polyurethane Baydur CSP (for the armchair) or Baydur 60 (for the ottoman); this can be lacquered with an innovative nonscratch paint with “gummy effect”, velvety to the touch (available only in white), or directly covered with saddle leather, leather, or fabric. In the lacquered version (hard seat), the base shell is joined to an upper shell constructed of rigid polyurethane Baydur CSP (for the armchair) or Baydur 60 (for the ottoman) and lacquered with “gummy effect”. In the saddle leather version (semi-rigid seat), the base shell is joined to an upper shell constructed of rigid polyurethane Baydur CSP embedded in cold-formed polyurethane with variable thickness and covered in saddle leather. In this case the seat is semi-rigid. For the matching ottoman, the upper shell is constructed of rigid polyurethane Baydur 60 contoured with a sheet of resilient, CFC-free polyurethane foam (density 70 kg/m³) covered in saddle
leather. In the leather and fabric versions (soft seat), the lower shell of the armchair and ottoman is in rigid polyurethane embedded in a cold formed polyurethane, then covered in saddle leather. The base of both armchair and ottoman is made of a curved chromed 4-star steel tubing; the armchair is also equipped with a swivel mechanism. With the same style are also available coffee tables with round top in different diameters and face different heights, all with base in curved chromed 4-star steel tubing; The coffee table tops are available in many variations: Calacatta Oro marble; black Marquina marble; white-veined Gioia marble; melamine-coated panel covered with saddle leather or leather; white varnished glass; polished steel; and chipboard panel with white or black laminate and polished black edging.
