We’re not big fans of winter. Not being skiers or even toboggan enthusiasts, it just doesn’t feel like there is much in it for us. Selfish, yes, but there it is. What’s left is snow to remove, icy streets, questions about closing the office, and cold. But then there is Spring. The question that comes to mind each springtime is if it wasn’t for Winter would Spring be less glorious? The greening of the fields, the budding of the trees, the blooming daffodils and hyacinths - it is so beautiful, seeing the transformation in action. But maybe we’re just happy to know that - yes, we’re sure of it - winter is gone.

homes were down 11.5% at the end of the first quarter. The hope of buyers is to find their dream home before mortgage interest rates and prices rise further - the median price is up 3.6% county-wide although it varies greatly among the towns in our survey.

And with the blooming of the crocus so comes the Spring Market the annual ritual where buyers and sellers meet in a frenzy of hope and circumstance.

And with the blooming of the crocus so comes the Spring Market - the annual ritual where buyers and sellers meet in a frenzy of hope and circumstance.

As always, our belief at Resources Real Estate is that the client who is most informed about the circumstances of the market is best able to succeed. Whether it’s market competition, current inventory, municipal considerations or economic conditions, all of these factors impact a homeowner’s efforts to sell a home and a buyer’s goal of purchasing one. A qualified real estate professional can help put these considerations in perspective and create a strategy that will lead to success.

This year the hope of many sellers is to take advantage of the low inventory in most of our markets - county-wide available

It’s our business to help transformation happen... maybe that’s why we like Springtime so much. Let us know how we can help.
