What You Will Learn

Section 1 – Plan well. Retire well. Live well.

Prior planning prevents poor performance. The reality is that we never plan enough, yet we continue to age every single day. Retirement is coming and by creating a solid plan, you can rest easy knowing that you will be able to enjoy your time. Retirement should be a time when you can relax and live the life you’ve always dreamed of. The goal is simple: Plan well. Retire well. Live well. We want to show you the path.

Section 2 – Income Planning

Enough. It’s a huge concept and the easy answer is that enough, is never enough. Life throws so many unknowns at us. The goal is to figure out and again create a plan to cover as many of those unknowns as possible. By figuring out how much you make today and how much you need tomorrow, you are able to put a real plan together.

Section 3 – Investment Planning

Creating a financial plan for your retirement means planning your investment strategy with care. We will explore and answer questions about everything from stocks and bonds to mutual funds and annuities. This section will cover all of the major pieces that you should consider before investing. We will also explore the various strategies for managing investment risks.

Section 4 – Tax Planning

Taxes. We all owe them, and the IRS provides a number of vehicles that can limit your tax burden. The common concepts are IRA, Roth IRA, 401k, Pension Plans and Social Security. Each tool has pluses and minuses. Your job as a future retiree is to figure out the right balance of these resources so you can have the retirement you want.

Section 5 – Healthcare Planning

Sorry to say this, but you are getting older. Getting older means that things start slowing down. There are more aches and pains. Frankly, there are more visits to the doctor than anyone ever wants. Your Retirement Elevated education includes some deep analysis on long-term care insurance as well as lots of guidance in proper planning. You want to be financially healthy even if life is throwing you a health curve ball.

Section 6 – Leaving a Legacy

What will you be remembered for? Determining how those you love are treated after your death is of critical concern for some people. You don’t want to leave your family with big debts AND you want to make sure that your life’s work means something. Add to that, why on earth would you pay more in taxes than absolutely necessary. Your Retirement Elevated instructor will walk you through a variety of scenarios that will help you make the right decision about wills, trusts, and estate planning. Your wishes matter; now and into the future.
